In other news (not news), I was briefly in the archives of the thread today. This amused me.

They do not have $1m+ in investments that don't count that house. They SHOULD have WAY MORE than $1m in investments given Nick's few years of success but we know that they burned through all of their liquid savings and investments due to having to take out that home equity loan that they couldn't pay back.

The one way I COULD see them having enough investments for Kayla to walk away with $1m+ is if it's controlled by Bob/Celeste. Actually, now that I think about it, Nick's probably just talking about the trust fund money that the Rekietas give them cash out of.
