They outsourced a shitload of medicine and medicine precursor production to India and to add to this the Indians don't give a single flying fuck about IP/patents and just manufacture anything they can as generics. Most of these generics never make it to the West due to massive quality control problems so instead flood into most of the global south. And since these people love downing bottles of generic broad spectrum antibiotics at the earliest convinience they're breeding more and more resistant strains of bacteria.

The Dinesh D'Souza reaction has serious implications to me: when even someone like him reacts this way, it becomes plainly clear that in the first place he adopted his colorblind anti-identitarian principles as a defense to protect himself from those same kinds of attacks, and the moment that fails and he bears those attacks anyway, he immediately drops the principles that failed to protect him and instantly turns hypocrite. When these are the real feelings of even someone like him, who spent decades building up a reputation as "the real deal" and "one of the good ones", how much less can you trust any other?
