Tried telling the other thread this but in NJ, that loss is a huge step back. I'll repeat what I said there in that in 2021 the governors race was fucking razor thin close between the incumbant and the challenger. And then in 2024, the state nearly flipped Red, with huge gains of blacks and latinos to Trump. Tonight pretty much undid all of that. Six counties flipped back to blue that where red during the 2024 election. LIke I said in the thread doomposting, or in this threads case gloatposting(?) is gay but so is ignoring warning signs. NJ could have become a purple state.

This could mean alot of things. When Trump isn't on the ticket, nobody gives a fuck and won't vote and/or people are already sick of his shit one year in.

They're already coping by claiming voter fraud yet again. They've made a habit of doing that in the last few election cycles, which is standard in third world countries with retards for citizens.

I had a conversation with a Brazilian guy before the 2022 presidential election, and he very earnestly told me that it was impossible for Bolsonaro to lose unless the elections were rigged... at the time, there were polls showing that Bolsonaro might only get third place. Just a few weeks later he was sperging out, of course...

I honestly think its the latter. We are a year into his first term and things aren't going the way things are. Recession is kicking in, government has been shut down for over a month, people aren't getting food stamps this month, holidays are around the corner and shit is just getting worse from there.

It doesn't help that while this shit is going on Trump is literally hosting Gatsby parties at the White House.

In Australia for a long time we had a very conservative equivalent Premier (equivalent of a state Governor) called Sir Joh Bjelke-Peterson. He was untouchable, almost dictator like, was in charge of Queensland for 20 years. He eventually fell to a massive corruption scandal (where he locked himself in the Premier/Governor's office and refused to come out when it ended due to a tantrum), but the wheels were starting to come off in the years beforehand and he was losing his grip.

There was a joke in Australia at the time leading up to his downfall (due to him losing popularity) about Sir Joh finally losing an election (it was a joke hence never happened), to which he immediately cried electoral corruption, cheating and vote rigging from his opposition, stating it was the only reason they won. When asked his reasoning for this Sir Joh would respond with "Well, I did all of those things and still lost which means they just cheated harder".

Lame joke, but fuck me if it isn't true, especially today when it comes to the migger right.
 
This proves to me that if elections are rigged, it wouldn't really affect the outcome because if either party had the power to just magically tip the scales of the election, then these cries of rigged and stolen wouldn't happen if they are willing to let the next election be won by someone that isn't desired.

The Democrats are seemingly sweeping all the state and local elections. This is a pretty big L for Republicans and Trump blames government shutdown for the losses.

If this Blue Wave continues, 2026 Midterms is going to be a massacre for the Republicans. Just like 2018. And Trump will be useless once the Dems take back the House or the Senate. And if a Democrat wins in 2028, all of Trump's executive orders will be reversed, the liberal status quos will be restored and them immigrants that he deported will return. The MAGA cope will be delicious.

Not that I have any high hope for Trump's second term, but this could turn out to be worse than his first term lol.

Trump's approval rating is so low now, it would be hilarious if all of the counties he's trying to redistrict across the US ahead of the midterms flip blue anyway.

Bolsonaro and his taintlickers believe the 2018 election was stolen too, and he won in 2018.

After all those years, I still don't understand the logic behind that. I think that's because he didn't win in the first round. But with colossal retards like that you never know.
