He’s going to continue the same problems of past Democrat mayors. Nothing will really change. I’m actually curious how he expects free everything to work. Unless he tries to make it illegal for the rich to leave NYC, he’s going to have a very hard time securing funds for government run grocery stores (among the other “free” things he has promised).

I agree with people that the doom posting is pretty gay. New Jersey has been a stronghold for Democrats for decades, Chris Christie was the anomaly. Virginia is pretty schizophrenic.
Also worth mentioning: Kamala carried both states in 2024, so why are people surprised?
