Dick Cheney is bad. I don't have any other words to describe him, he never seemed to make Iraq something worth fighting for, he let Americans get raped for global financial good and wanting to look like the adult in the room, and then ultimately betrayed everything because Trump dared to say he ruined millions of lives with his actions. A pure betrayer whose offspring must also betray to stay relevant.

But let's see how quickly his daughter spins her father's death, it's only been about two hours since reported, I bet by 4pm there will be some statement of "get out and vote to honor my father who stood against BLUMPF!"

Since AI is a national security concern at this point, doesn't bode well. Nixon was right yet again for wanting to build 1000 nuclear power plants.

Also these cards get outdated quickly, Microsoft is pouring money into the trash.

Guessing there's gonna be a ton of pressure on Trump to build new plants quickly. Can Trump order states to bring their shuttered nuclear plants online?

The point is not so much that there isn't power, but that it's very difficult to predict the demand for AI and where to build infrastructure because the growth is so high, including predicting the local availability of electrical power.

He's not saying they can't buy power. He's saying they can't predict the need for compute and the future power generation capacity well enough to get server farms built where the power capacity is.

This is what happens when people decide the Constitution is optional in times of crisis. We get short-sighted decisions that still haunt us 150 years later.
