I still find it shocking that people see Nick as "The Face of White Nationalism TM" when there are a lot more intelligent and articulate people in that space, even from like 2016. Even if I dont like White Nationalism, I must admit people like Millennial Woes, Leather Apron Guy and Devon Stack are very good with their content, theories, policy prescriptions etc. There are definitely retards within the alt right (Way of the World) but Nick seems like a pretender at this point, thats probably why Millennial Woes never had him on Millenniyule ever. Nick is probably the George Bush Jr of White Nationalism. I also find it a bit sad to see people who I liked enter that space and completely lose their shit, people like Academic Agent.

He's trying to reinvent himself away from the "Edgy, spergy, faggy podcaster" to "serious political commentator." You can't be a serious political commentator if you've got the baggage of a rabid fanbase with the IQ of a refrigerator. The raison d'etre for Nick in his "groyper wars" was going against mainstream conservatism for trying to appeal to racial minorities and LGBBQ people, so he started out as a firm wignat and only got more extreme and spergy in spite of the mockery for the Mexican roots until recently.

The right is truly lost the plot post 2024 as the energy has crashed into a brick wall and the big tent slowly starts fighting. I think what we're watching now is essentially what the left spent to the last decade doing, subdividing back into fiefdoms with no unified vision and everyones just trying to be the one with the biggest Patreon. Nick lowkey fits into this as he has one of the most retardedly loyal fanbases out there so it could be (assuming no back door coordinating) people trying to court his audiance.

I did rewatch the MikeyNohMore vid as a refresher and it is truly crazy how much this mexican has skated on.

Meanwhile, the left has been slowly but surely scoring more and more wins against the Trump administration (see: the No Kings protests and the continuing government shutdown). The most horrifying part is that this will eventually lead into a newly communist-captured Left taking back power and declaring open season an anyone who opposes their agenda.

TL;DR we were doomed from the start.

While I'm not as convinced of the resurgent left (Government shutdown has been bad optics among the EBT-dependant but all the No Kings rally's I see have I just boomers seething) as they are still very much a house divided against itself, its just not as visible as the right, but the right is very much splintering too.

Unless there's like, total Trump Admin failure, I really don't see the dems resurging till after 2028, but in the same breath, I expect 2028 to be the Republican collapse. Vance or whoever Trump's anointed is will likely be President #48 but in the process, I think you'll see full schisms along the lines of the Tech Right and Trad Right, as well as a normie bleed. You can even see lines being drawn in the sand, like when Nick was going off about Theil & Vance to Sam Hyde. I'm sure if we get a Vance run, those connections will become a lot more mainstream and will be a weapon to divide the right.

Though as I said earlier, the left has even less vision than the right, but they're already starting the metamorphosis process and will likely be back with a vengence in a decade or so.
