You know, I'm fine with diversity in media. I don't mind gays or blacks or the disabled in my TV slop. It just breaks my suspension of disbelief to think that a Japanese high school has more diversity than a DEI poster in California. It would also change the vibe of the high school itself. Instead of the normal high school experience, you'd have your friends pressuring you to identify as nonbinary or gossiping about how microagressive the new teacher is. At some point if you change up too many identities you'd just have a different character, even if they're still "the sweet school nurse" or "the competitive jock". If the jock is actually a 5ft pooner who heccin loves mlm instead of a chad that can get with all the girls they're just not the same person anymore.

Man how the fuck did no one mention that this is a fucking game for children? I don't particularly give a shit about making porn (including this sort of fetish content) of pokemon characters as long as it's tagged as such and not visible publicly. But this shit is never going to be age restricted. This sort of groomer propaganda is going to show up in search results for children, probably on the fan wikis for the game too knowing the type of person to run a wiki. This is just epi aside from instead of normal porn you're starting off with your fucking rape fetishes. You're skipping over the part where it's easy to stop and undo the damage and going straight to fucking up someone's romance life. There's been countless examples at this point, how many people posted fetish porn to early youtube and got an entire generation of kids fucked up on their fetish and ruined their romantic and sex life? Do I even need to say anything about the fucking bronies? How many kids searched 'rainbow dash' on youtube and were traumatised by someone who intentionally posted gore videos in a way that would attract children? Or the same but it's softcore porn that lead them to actual porn sites? How many children are going to go to google and search her name and end up on twitter in the depths of the fandom?
I don't think there's anything holy or untouchable about pokemon, the problem is no kid is going to recognise your rape fetish as a rape fetish. They're going to see it as a funny prank. Kids talk about wedgies and shit like that all the time as just a funny prank, adults talk about it as a fetish, those are fine as long as they are separated by having fetish talk on private accounts, but when the adults expose their sexual desires to children and twist the child's idea of a funny prank into something sexual? It's like that, it's the wedgie fetishists and the schneider foot fetishists and the nikelodeon slime fetishists, aside from it's rape fetishists. No kid is going to look at these posts and realise it's something they shouldn't be looking at, kids know what porn and sex is but they also know that it's bad and they shouldn't look at this. No kid is going to self police this sort of content because they are children and do not have the same capacity for critical thought that we do so simply will not realise this is fetish content that they are too young for. Instead they're going to think your rape fetish is normal and healthy because that's what they grew up with, aka grooming. I just think maybe don't use the fucking kids characters and post in the fandom designed and full of kids to talk about your rape fetishes. Maybe just go wank over some hentai character that does the same shit but without the association to kids. Literally just don't post about your fetishes in a fandom full of kids. It's not hard. Go to a fucking porn site and shit out your rape fetish stories over there instead.
Unless the reason is that they want to push their fetish talk into spaces where kids can find it and will be communally groomed into thinking that said fetish is normal? But I'm sure they would never do that at all ever. Tbf, they is wrong because it is wider than just trannies but still. Incredibly fucking noncy behaviour.
And for clarity I consider forcing people to partake in your fetishes as rape, you are deliberately forcing someone to do something you know to be sexual despite them actively and obviously not wanting it. Even if it is technically not rape it is still the mindset of a rapist. 'femme' in the fetish name is something sexual in nature, that is a sexual act to these people, force(sexual act) sounds a hell of a lot like rape to me.

Honest question here, the argument I always here is that these people do it due to lack of rep in media itself (though I doubt some of these identities are lacking rep in media), has any media really changed their minds and actually redesigned any of these characters to another race, sexuality, or gender? If not then what exactly do these people hope to achieve? Even if their Tumblr followers give them a pat on the back for it, the media they claim to "love" still hasn't changed anything just because you want these characters to look and be this way, so why bother following the media if you don't like how the characters look?
I'm convinced that these people throw darts at a wall and just put whatever sexuality, race, and gender it lands on because I would really love to hear their reason as to why they think said character should be this race, or this character should have this sexuality.

I don't like this. It's like saying only men can rage, be angry, express their repressed irritation and negative emotions and never women. I can sense perpetuating the sexism unintentionally or otherwise in this image.
I thought everyone was supposed to be able to express their feelings in a healthy way without these labels or anything. Why does a child's emotions and confusion about them end up having something to do with becoming kathoeys? Sad, just sad. I try to feel compassion for people like these because I try to have faith that they're not faking a disorder for clout, because in the event that they do have a problem, then it's just upsetting they are not getting the help, or worse, NOT TRYING TO HELP THEMSELVES.
This reminds me of Birdie (dont tell me to post it in the Birdie thread because it's locked). She pooned out for whatever reason and she has autism and a plethora of mental disorders that went unchecked. I velieve sone of these people come from neglectful, abusive, or unaware/inexperienced/underpriveleged homes that didn't have or care to find the resources to deal with children who have mental disorders, but, fuck, man, I've seen so many people like this not end up going "perfectly valid emotions of a child = transmasc/transfem/genderspecial/etc."

If only people like this got help AND accepted it. However, I believe some people can be beyond saving at some point. It's a spectrum, not black and white (like many of their kind believe it to be).
