It's a myth that most attacks are super hackers finding zero days and stealthily sneaking in and stealing secrets. Nearly all "hacks" are actually just jeet contractors selling/being bribed for access.

I really wish I could take back seeing behind the curtain. Like if I was some oblivious dumb fuck I would likely be a much happier person. Trumps going in the right direction but there are still so many fucked up things that thinking about it sucks. I am somewhat hopeful for the future though. We still have over 3 orange years left.

If we had a "buy American" renaissance it would get cheaper. Not too much, but enough for coffee snobs and not just richoids to go "mmmm yes I don't drink Folgers, my coffee comes from the PREMIER PLANTATIONS in HAWAII." To the earlier point in the thread, America can already tap its own land for luxuries. You'd have to scale up production for certain things, but the country has so much potential for self-sufficiency.
 
There are two kinds of people you should consider Ignoring for the betterment of the thread.

First I'll call Antifa posters. People that are purposefully posting disingenuously just to disrupt discussion. You may think it outlandish to consider our little containment thread to be worthy of such attention, and I don't think their is any directive from on high to be a target of disruption, however I do think we absolutely have experienced it. We have leaked communications telling Antifa people to use wedge issues to derail online discussions of the Right. It can be as simple as some sperg Farmer getting that direction passed around in their little gay Radical clique and this being a familiar place to act it out. It also is encompassing Leftists on the site just trolling for their own amusement, but the intent is irrelevant to the result in the thread. Also, I am convinced the sped that came here sperging out about Stephen Miller being a Jew was absolutely following direction from Antifa leaders. It was this bizarre talking point seemingly out of nowhere right as we were seeing it being a nation wide push all the way to the top of the Democrats, all a few days before it became public he would be in charge of directing efforts against Antifa. Clearly that info was found out by the left and the marching orders given out before it was announced.

The other group I call Niggercattle. Niggercattle are people easily herded by propaganda into being very opinionated on whatever narrative is being pushed. They tend to be hyperfocused on that narrative that is factually deficient and completely unable to see nuance or a bigger picture of the issue. Jew Sperging has been a chronic issue in this thread that I think is a well entrenched niggercattle herd. I'm not talking about disliking Jews or thinking that Isreal has too much influence over our politicians, but the type that think anything short of nuking Tel Aviv is (often extremely graphically described) fellation of Isreal. Epstein is another Niggercattle subject, weak willed, short sighted, low inteligence people that make 20 year old sex crimes the most important issue facing the USA today.

I type all this out because this thread has been shit for pages because @World in Scarlet is one of the two, and you are either helping them out or joining the herd if you keep replying to them like they are a human being.

Like Leftist trolling for Antifa, I think Doomposters fit into the Niggercattle territory while not completely matching the definition. They are affected by the propaganda, but not dogmatically locked into the narrative like a full Niggercattle.

I've doomposted before, mainly cause I went to bed in 2020 with the same feeling I went to bed in 2024, and I thought it was too soon to feel comfortable. I didn't fully take to the herd of the narrative, I briefly wore a Burgersuit afterwards until Fatpacks made it feel like I was taking on too much penance for feeling like the powers that be would take it from us again and not completely shitting up the thread with retarded takes.

I was talking about the concern trolls using doomposting as a demoralization tactic. Probably fall under category 1 in this case.
