If you actually oversee your contractors appropriately and hold their feet to the fire to a reasonable level, you can get stuff done extremely quickly. Some of these bridges and skyscrapers that take 5-6 years could be done in less than 1.
A lot of the endless construction bullshit is just because these contractors are allowed to continuously ask for more budget and extend their deadlines in perpetuity, basically giving them a small tap to the government's endless money pool. And because the local/state government officials who approve it get kick backs, they have no incentive to do anything about it.

So i was on youtube on my tv and this came up on my recommended,
its made by a moralfagging britfag called NoWhere, the video is mostly about how the us government has gotten bad ever since orange man took office, he talks about how orange man bad, he mentioned his casino's and trump steaks before he was potus, says that the right are more violent then the left, he shits on Charlie Kirk and how he was assassinated, that the right were calling the shooter left and a troon, how the white house's youtube were calling him a martyr and compares the funeral for Charlie Kirk to the Nuremberg rallies, and constantly talks about how Trump was on the epstein islands. Keep in most of this britfag's videos are on how gen z is fucked, or the UK government are the worst government ever, that's pretty much all his videos. He shits on big government or on gen z and how they are cooked. I fucking hate this video

Same, more and more i understand Perez jimenez, my man needs more recognizion, i dare to say even better than Pinochet, not only did he killed a lot of comunists he put the prisioners to work forcing them to build like an Egipcian Pharaoh, many of the infrastructure still surviving despite the lack of maintenance has been thanks to his building autism, so good infact they had to turn a Mall he Build into a prison/torture dungeon known as Helicoide because thats how sturdy his shit is, as much as it pain me to say though that prison needs to go down, so many horrible shit has happened there, it needs to be burned and purified after all this nightmare is over.

He said that all the steel was donated for free and implied that a lot of the other materials were heavily discounted/gifts as well.

There’s a lot of Trump voters in the trades who would gladly take a loss on the job in exchange for the prestige of working on the White House.

I remember seeing a piece about Trump on TV in the late 80s where it was discussed that his projects not only always came in on time and on or under budget, but the budgets were often 20-30% lower than anyone else would have costed a job at. He simply knew every stage of the project to where he knew what things should cost, and worked with contractors he treated well and trusted, who returned that trust and did great work for him.
