I don't usually read reddit, but I did read the comments from DGGers about this. A lot of people are getting banned even though they're overall sympathetic to Destiny. Most of them seem to think that Destiny is actually a high quality guy who just can't keep making dumb mistakes with women who aren't of his caliber. It's actually amazing that they seem to think the problem is that he keeps coming across mentally ill women, and not that he himself is mentally ill. Counterpoints, for example, posted some dumb tweet about how Destiny's dick takes him places that he wouldn't go with a gun. Completely failing to realize that actually, those women are making a huge mistake by associating with Destiny. Like this:

Destiny is fun because he recognize things like systemic racism, meaning he understands that things can be racist even if the individual isn't aware that they're doing something racist. But completely fails to apply this same logic to his own behavior. Even if he doesn't consciously hate women, for example, he still does a lot of really gross, effectively sexist and misogynistic things to women. That's the outcome. And because people see his gross behavior toward women, he's going to get the same side eye as a Trump voter with a black friend at work. But self reflection has never been Destiny's strong suit, has it?
