Just tuned into it, and there is some fat negress yapping about how Cuomo is back & etc.
I tuned into a random part of the stream and the black host ask something NYC did right during covid. Silwa said "Cuomo did nothing right and fucked it up", Mamdani said "I got my vaccine in 15 minutes", and Cuomo said "Thank you (to Silwa) for the comment."

on the subject of the imaginary awesome physical fitness of previous generations: do you guys know why modern governments decided to start nutritional support programs? because childhood malnutrition was so bad it meant they couldn't rely on having healthy enough soldiers. (in the US this reason went along with and was rapidly eclipsed by creating a sink for agricultural surplus but it was still a major factor)

Childhood malnutrition plus disease means that yeah, young people who were around and visible were in good condition but you're not seeing the fucked up ones.

obesity is a big (lol) problem but the past is not some kind of lost paradise of health and fitness. It is not that long ago that all that physical activity meant people literally working themselves into early graves, especially when combined with infections that damaged the heart.

It will take US 417 years to make enough of their interceptors to counter those 5000 missiles. Well, technically 429 years if we want to replenish the losses in Iran war. That's assuming they even intercept the missiles, because they don't always succeed (though it still has a very high success rate).

Ballistic missiles are not the same thing as anti-aircraft missiles. Iran did not shoot down any Israeli or American planes.

THAAD is intended to counter ballistic missiles, does Venezuela have any of those or just munitions meant to target aircraft?

The big caveat to a country having a lot of missiles pointed at the US aircraft is that we have a bunch of dumb shit collecting dust in storage that we've been itching to wheel out against a worthy opponent. Or unworthy. Anyone really. They don't want to go that way.

I got that part. I just don't understand the last part how the show is saying The Boys is Kirk related and how his own side is cheering.

1) The people who are writing the show are anti-Trump
2) it is getting annoyingly political
3) a scene happened where the guy that is representing essentially Hitler Superman and is being compared to Trump executes somebody publicly
4) they are trying to imply that Trump supporters want to kill their opposition
5) a man was publicly executed in real life and the only people cheering were the people that were on the side of the show writer

Using THAAD in real combat is worth the money spent on it because it allows for adjustment of strategy. THAAD is also the last stage of defense since it only works during terminal-phase interception and actually has to hit the incoming BM while Arrow/David's Sling only has to blow up near it. Accuracy matters more.
