As a Zoomer, you're a bit young to remember the AIDS scares in the 70s and 80s or their aftermath. Further, as the Kiwi Farms' local practicing Mormon, you probably don't have much experience with using alcohol or other drugs. Those who can't remember to keep on top of their PrEP prescription or use condoms, high or sober, tend to die young. It is entirely possible to be fucked up on enough alcohol that you don't remember what other drugs you were given, be consequently horny out of your fucking mind, and still have just barely enough presence of mind to remember that using a condom will slightly improve your odds of living past 40.

Various molds produce very nasty toxins. Some will just kill you from cancer or organ failure. Some will make you think you're seeing God first, before they kill you from cancer or organ failure. Lance was probably already crazy. But the drug use, and possibly poisoning from the molds, were quite likely making it worse.

Mamdani sounds like like a random generic politician from TV, making non-committal non-answers. Both Cuomo and Sliwa both are giving Mandani such shit for it. You love to see it.

I haven't seen any sources indicating that the heat shield is or isn't rapidly re-usable. Do you have any?

It's designed to be rapidly reusable.

You could argue that it's not apparently different from the Shuttle's heat shield, but do you have any evidence other than that?

Almost all of that goes to administration and "programs". A lot of inner city/urban schools take on so many roles outside of "school" that teachers/teaching are an afterthought.

The inner city school near me consistently has fewer than 30% of students passing standardized tests, spends double of an equivalently-sized school up the road per student, and has the following: a clinic, a food pantry, a mobile dental office, a clothes pantry, a summer food program, a program that feeds them dinner, an online portal to encourage mindfulness meditation, etc. The last contract, the teachers only received a 2.5% raise. The superintendent, until recently, had two secretaries for some reason. There are more administrative departments than I'm aware of, and from what I've been told, any specific employee with a problem gets shuffled between ambiguous departments without any resolution. The people who are in admin who are competent and accomplish things get bombarded, which results in them burning out after 3ish months and going to work somewhere functional.

My friend western education is all about blowing taxpayer money on useless crap for school administrators and teachers, while doing fuck all for the students. Does that clear up your question?

Cuomo just tried to imply Sliwa is mentally ill, just disgusting when you know he's previously tried to call Sliwa "kooky" for his care for animals and involvement in shelters for stray cats.

Just makes me all the more mad that WABC and others want Sliwa to step aside for this scumbag.
