On the subject of RIFs (reductions in force, firings of federal employees during the government shutdown and objections to same by the unions), the unions did file their motion for preliminary injunction last night (attached). However, they have also filed to revise the already-revised temporary restraining order AGAIN by adding three MORE unions to the plaintiffs, and six more federal agencies to the defendants under the TRO:

I swear, these union fucks. Those dues pay for some heavy-hitting bitch lawyers. They have also made yet another motion to speed things up already, wanting to have everything including the preliminary injunction and the amended complaint all dealt with at the hearing on October 28th.

Slightly off topic but I’m about two thirds through ‘Under Siege’ - the new book by Eric Trump - that talks about many things but focuses on the recent law fare and the effect it had on DJT, the family and the business. There’s some really interesting ‘behind the scenes’ stuff about his Mom Ivana and his childhood that made me smile and the values his Dad instilled into them that made them the people they are today. Did you know that The Donald calls Eric ‘honey’ to this day?

Whilst, like Jake Tapper’s, I wish there was a law to prevent authors doing the audiobook recording it’s entertaining and interesting enough to stick with. Definitely recommend it - has anyone attempted the Karine Jean-Pierre one yet?

People get too tied up in the measure of success when the real interesting thing to observe is how that cutting edge technology is trickling down to consumer technology. Through research papers, collaborations, etc. this information will seep out and help drive things forward. Innovation isn't a straight line, its a coast line where we are the ocean eroding away the unknown. The real trick is protecting those technologies from being restricted from the individual citizen as they are tools to also fight back.

This isn't a knock against you and personally I believe any nation who's majority would fail the paper bag test could ever be an ally to a white nation, but I legit hate the exaggerated importance placed on BRICS.

It's a meaningless organization that oversees the New Development Bank (which doesn't require membership) and has essentially zero obligations between it's member's in any capacity.

It's similar to how the Tripartite Pact is constantly referenced in WW2 discourse as some pivotal development in the lead up and prosecution of the war despite being similarly pointless and completely overshadowed by actual obligations Germany and Italy had to each other via bilateral treaties and Japan's inclusion being nothing more than a statement of intent regarding spheres of influence.

It's so pointless that a last year it's leaders for a time were stating Saudi Arabia and Argentina were formal members when they had only applied and then withdrawn, because there's no distinction between being a member and being on non-hostile terms with China and Russia.
