Probably a joke post but here is a little overlooked part of what happened immediately after the end of slavery in the United States.

The slaves knew it was coming, too. Booker T. Washington talks about it in Up From Slavery. After the Emancipation Proclamation is read to his family and fellow slaves, he describes the scene:

"For some minutes there was great rejoicing, and thanksgiving, and wild scenes of ecstasy [...] The wild rejoicing on the part of the emancipated coloured people lasted but for a brief period, for I noticed that by the time they returned to their cabins there was a change in their feelings. The great responsibility of being free, of having charge of themselves, of having to think and plan for themselves and their children, seemed to take possession of them. It was very much like suddenly turning a youth of ten or twelve years out into the world to provide for himself. In a few hours the great questions with which the Anglo-Saxon race had been grappling for centuries had been thrown upon these people to be solved. These were the questions of a home, a living, the rearing of children, education, citizenship, and the establishment and support of churches. Was it any wonder that within a few hours the wild rejoicing ceased and a feeling of deep gloom seemed to pervade the slave quarters? To some it seemed that, now that they were in actual possession of it, freedom was a more serious thing than they had expected to find it."

It's an interesting and reasonably short read for anyone who wants to know more about that period of history.

guys Im really struggling to understand why the hell he needs to completly level the east wing to add a ballroom. I was and am all on board for an addition but seeing this just makes me sad, This is our history, the peoples house, just being hacked up like some condemned structure.

Not even removing the windows to preserve them
It's not the People's House. That is (allegedly, lol; lmao) the House of Representatives. He's simply tearing up something noted tyrant President Hotwheels built only 84 years ago so he can put something much more magnificent in its place with his own money.

We don’t need India in our orbit, we need to make them a shaky member of BRICS so Putin can calm down. This is mostly to curb the heavy trade India has with Russia. This way we weaken a revenue stream, which puts pressure on Putin.
India is toxic. It would be better for them to make a close relationship with Russia and have the jeets destroy that country instead. All it'll take is jeets learning Russia and invading their websites and public places and the country will implode.

Yeah, they weren't exonerated, the case was simply vacated by a single judge, all but one of them were already out of prison. Who was back in prison for selling drugs and was known to have beefed with Reyes. Imagine just accepting the Media's narrative in current year. Just because Reyes later found her and raped her doesn't mean these five shit heads didn't and every one of them should have been executed.

Throw in the Innocence Project too, they almost never actually clear people, just get obviously guilty people out on technicalities, some of whom then go on to reoffend. The bleeding hearts never actually look into the details though, although that's true for all kinds of things in the last few months.
Worse, didn't they gaslight the actual victim, who had no memory of what happened, into saying they had nothing to do with it?

Part of the reason why home ec and similar lifestyle classes have disappeared has to do with the high school-to-college pipeline and competition between American students and international students (i.e. Indians and Chinese).

A larger part of the reason is the unspoken truth that in one of these classes some nigger stabbed another nigger with a kitchen knife and then the school got threatened with a lawsuit. The school can't just ban black students from taking the class because they might kill each other, so they do the usual school thing of catering to the lowest common denominator and cancel the class for everyone. This is why posters from areas that are mostly white still have these classes even if they're poor rural schools.

Anyone who has dealt with Indians professionally knows that Kissinger is spot on. They try to pick the right words to get you to do what they want you to do and then use that to make themselves look good by tying their name to your work.

It's hard to blame them. Any that didn't act this way were killed by any of the dozens of other civilizations that invaded and ruled their lands over the past several millennia. After so long it's been encoded into their DNA. Even blacks will try to escape or rebel when kept as slaves, but Indians will only plot against and try to one up each other or kiss ass in order to show that they're the best slave. That's why the Arabs can abuse them worse than Hasan abuses his dog and more of them will fight each other for the opportunity to be shipped over and treated like shit. Truly a cursed people, the Indians.

Daily reminder that Nat Turner, a literal braintumor race warrior, leading his band of niggers on a campaign to exterminate the white race, came across a family of share croppers - the first non-plantation owning whites he'd ever encountered.
So utterly horrorified by the how these free whites lived, Nat ordered his band to leave them alone as they "lived worse than we did".

Of the 11 million slaves brought over the atlantic, only 300,000 were brought to North America. Unlike the carribean and (cheifly) Brazil plantations where most slaves had life expectancies in months, slaves in the US were taken care of well enough to increase the imported population by an order of magnitude.

Conditions for slaves were largely horrifiic because of just how shit it was to be anyone other than the very tip of the wealth pyramid, and were often better than the poorest whites because massa had a vested interest in keeping his niggers fed and clothed.

It is galling that some are saying it's somehow the duty of republicans to step aside and support a democrat that couldn't even win his own primary.
Yes but also consider that Sliwa's entire job is to prevent sane Republicans from running and hand the seat over to the left. The problem is, the DSA race marxist types have realized they can perform Entryism on the Democrats just like they do to hobbies and corporations, and now the situation has ~evolved~.
I’m amazed people forget renovating the White House used to be a common thing.
History started and ended in 1985. The Age of Myth was 1935 or so when the original sin of the White European occurred. Everything before then doesn't exist. You might as well be talking about the Greco-Roman wars if you're talking about buildings being rebuilt in 1895 or something.
If they have strong links to the foreign terrorist organization antifa would they also get investigated?
Yes, but it reveals one key problem that will come up if they actually do start targeting Antifa. All of these groups are using the Marxist Affinity Group model tactic to make it as hard as possible to rip them out by the roots, under the expectation that in 2028 they'll be able to rig the midterms and 2030 rig the presidency and stop the crackdown. That means the second anyone starts looking there's going to be hundreds of nameless terror cells and slightly bigger terror cells with similar names and slightly larger NGOs, all of which are networked, all of which have plausible deniability (which is enough to make them untouchable), all of which are using Signal and other encrypted chats to conceal their communications.

The FBI, having been compromised sometime since the days of rage, has been infiltrating and destroying right wing movements to the right of Mao for the sin of being to the right of Mao. I highly, HIGHLY, suspect that there is no similar movement to infiltrate and dismantle the alt-left.

Trump's jeet meeting today included H1B super recruiter Al Tzar and IBM CEO Arvind Krishna. A third of IBM's workforce is in India and it forced DEI and troonery into Fedora Linux and Gnome.

IBM has also been performing layoffs so extreme that they make international news then immediately doing mass H1B and Indian hiring pushes. The IBM CEO was literally in the news last year after he was caught on a zoom call by Veritas bragging about paying bonuses to his HR department for illegally discriminating against White Men, which is OK because racism means making a brown person sad, it has nothing to do with whites other than their eternal guilt.

Fun fact, IBM killed the pension by starting up a scam called the "401K" and recently signaled the death of the 401K by a new "RBA" -- Retirement Benefits Account, a 401k-like thing that follows the stock market. At a 3% yearly return max. Which is FDIC ensured, which the idiot jeets bragged meant they don't have to fund the retirement fund and the US Government will pay for it instead.

Concerning this new influx of Trump haters, can you guys close your eyes and say in one word why you hate Trump? I'm curious.
I bet its bullshit. Justify it in one word, because my word for you is 'brainwashed'

I want people to realise that in the 80s we totally thought we could fix humanity. Look at Africa Aid. Look at Mchael Jackson. Look at the middle east. We really thought love and money and volunteering would stop horrible things. And many still think that despite all evidence .

Nobody really thought that, it was about ending the Soviet Union and Reagan did it.

I took home economics so I can hang out with this girl I liked my freshman year. You actually learn some pretty useful stuff in that class. It was a shame though, because after that year the school phased it out along with shop.
Part of the reason why home ec and similar lifestyle classes have disappeared has to do with the high school-to-college pipeline and competition between American students and international students (i.e. Indians and Chinese). Instead of using high school to develop citizens, the focus has been set at a high administrative level on using high school to get students into college.
I was going to say how the current trend of high schools to push as many students as possible into a STEM track has contributed to the decimation of home ec, shop, and vocational classes. When I was in high school, shop classes - wood and metal - were quite popular, but both seem extinct from the curriculum now even if there's still a need for it. Vocational classes in subjects such as hospitality and auto repair are now available on a regional level. Home ec has largely disappeared, too - a shame because a Home Ec class covering child development was popular when I was in high school. Students taking it were allowed on occasion to bring their pre-school aged relatives (siblings, cousins, etc) to class for special activities and lessons.

The big wigs in charge don't seem to realize or care that not everyone is college material and people who are good with their hands might have more success in a vocational ed field. Similarly, they eliminated home ec classes that might help them learn the most basic skills associated with living on one's own. It certainly bolsters the belief that education is being dumbed down and more about pushing people into certain career tracks instead of giving them the chance to explore and decide for themselves with elective offerings.

Pain management at that late in the game it's basically your doctor telling you "These cancerous cells are eating you alive but don't worry because I'm going to give you enough shit that you're not going to feel anything."
Someone I know who died from cancer had a similar experience once they were declared terminal. Their pain meds were tweaked to minimize the pain and much as reasonable possible to give them one less thing to worry about before passing.

I don't get why this is a thing. Dollar general/dollar tree sells phones. It's shit, but it works.
I believe this is one of the programs being paid for from the Universal Service Fund established back in the late 1990s. Like any other governmental program, it underwent massive scope creep and bureaucratic inertia to stay relevant - starting out as "We need to be sure people in poor or rural areas have access to telecommunication services" and becoming "Anyone too poor to have a mobile phone gets one on the government's tab."

Look what happens to imported alien elites when the Empire dies.

To be fair, aside from the gang rape, Reyes is the one who slammed a rock into her head and left her for dead, the central park 5 just beat the shit out of her. The various hand prints and such on her were different sizes, the Five even brought up raping her before the police even brought it up. They were wilding in the park earlier in the night. They're absolutely guilty as fuck and I'm not sure what drives people to make excuses for them. Trump was right back then and if he could he'd probably still, correctly, execute their asses.

I think some people really just want the American justice system to be as bad as the Left claims it is, other wise it means all of this crime is a choice that could be dealt with any time. And that the racists were right, but we already know that.
