I know a lot of people believe Chantal can’t or won’t stay with family because of her behavior and YouTube activity, and any rules or restrictions that may be laid down (myself included), but Chantal’s mother going on vacation to avoid her would be pretty funny (it probably wasn’t her intention, but the timing adds unintentional humor).
 
Something is bugging me about the whole ‘return to Canada’ thing and it’s basically why the hell would she? She has absolutely everything she needs and wants in Syria in terms of accommodation, a man-slave, food and a cat. You might argue she doesn’t have healthcare and that everyone hates her but since when has that remotely bothered the Gunt? She doesn’t want to travel or see anything, she just wants to sit and seal and she can do that in Syria quite happily because in Syria GUNT IS A WEALTHY WOMAN.

This is why I don’t think they’ll turf her out, quite the opposite they’ll be doing everything they can to keep her. Get her settled in a room somewhere away from the others, throw food at her and ensure her happiness then go to town on her debit card. Everyone wins, especially Gunt as she is probably well attended by the women there, whether she - or they - like it or not. She’s the eccentric maiden Aunt we all have that no one particularly likes but we all have to be nice to because she is loaded and will pay for everything - except in this case she’s no relation whatsoever but has moved in regardless and is now funding their lives. Probably not the weirdest thing these poor Syrians have experienced but it’ll be up there.

She’ll likely travel back for the holidays but she knows she can’t afford a similar lifestyle in Canada, she’s facing a lonely, cold and frugal existence there whereas in Syria she’s an exotic high value PRIZE. She hates it, hates them, the attention, the heat, the fireworks and her need to be contrary is driving this current Canada arc but she’s not going anywhere. Why would she when everything she needs is right there?

The last time that she didn’t have immediate access to fried food, she told the internet that “if something happened her”, it was Shitlah, and his family. That wasn’t even a full day without fried food.
She has never done this, and never will. It is the aircraft’s, the flight crew’s, other passengers’, and her suffering chair(s)’ responsibility to accommodate her gargantuan, unwashed physique, not hers.

There is only 1 reason that Chantal wants to (and will) return to Canada, and that is FOOD. Chantal craves, dreams, joneses for fast food continually. She panics when she can't haunt drive-thrus 4 times a day, or have a greasy, cheese-encrusted pizza day or night.

Chantal spends her time awake, scrolling thru food apps, memorizing menu items and drooling over the thought of stuffing her face. It is who she is.

That being said, she will not stay in Canada long, unless Salah refuses to take her back. She will quickly realize that she cannot afford to gorge herself for long. The beezers are financing an extended vacation. I beleive she will play the back and forth game, until one day, some poor unfortunate flight attendant finds the dead, but still flatulent fatso cold and still, in her 2 seats.

Don't give Gunt credit for big-picture thinking or long-term planning. She doesn't run to things, she runs away from things. In fact, at times she wears her reckless impulsivity like a badge of honor.

She wants to go back to Canada because:
  • She resents the time Salah spends with his family and how they "intrude" on their proivate loife.
  • She doesn't have the freedom to go where she wants, when she wants.
  • She doesn't have access to unlimited fast food.
Just like with every one of her trips back to Canada since the Middle East arc began, once she has had her fix of what she has been missing, the bloom will be off the rose and she'll want to go back. But for those who say that Salah will never let go of the gravy train, they said the same about Nader, but even he eventually cut ties. I think (hope) Salah has reached his limit and will have found his new wife before Chins even knows what hit her.

As much as she loves to portray herself as a happy-go-lucky adventurous traveler bombshell vixen relatable queen, she's a creature of habit who will not tolerate feeling any sort of mild discomfort. And she's uncomfortable *all the fucking time.* In Syria, she's away from any and all of her regular coping mechanisms, namely greasy, fatty, sugary fast food that she can get *WITHOUT INCONVENIENCE.* In Syria, she has to rely on someone else to get it all for her, if she can get it at all. This is embarrassing. Thus, she feels more shame and instead of confronting her boorish hog behavior, she must bury it with more food and anger.

This isn't working anymore. She hates Syria. She hates being forced to pretend to be a good, normal, responsible adult in a close-knit familial culture. Everyone can see her disgusting, slovenly behavior up close. Salah's family in Syria has dealt with war, famine, and chaos for years. They won't be impressed by a spoiled, reeking, drooling cave woman the size of a water buffalo. They judge the shit out of her and she knows it.

Plus, her health problems have clearly gotten to the point that even she can't ignore them. In the back of her shriveled pea-sized brain, she's fully aware of the fact that she needs to be near Western health facilities, and the prospect of her needing expensive Western treatment at the drop of a hat is a 'when' not an 'if.'

Besides, Salah has clearly had enough of being her house slave. Which, okay, fine, fair enough. If he'd just leave her to binge on her fast food, she can make do. But she can't do that anymore. Hence why she's suddenly pressuring Peetz to come back to her. She needs that familiarity back. She needs weed and food to numb herself.

i read this a lot and maybe people are saying this bc he's less talkative and more whiny now and then about doing it but he does it. he still hasn't put his size 6 (women's, narrow) foot down and set her straight. He still (barely a) man serves her, so all the talk about he's had enough is just wishful thinking in my opinion. i want him to be done too. but he's a little bitch and always will be until or unless one day his balls finally drop.
