Well, scrolling through the answers and I had a good laugh at people calling him out on it. Especially defending Derich and Dragonfucker's list of fetishes. While yes the degenerate is a mark of shame on Twitch Phil lives in a very big glass house

he already did. he hated scarlet and said "it's the same FUCKIN' GAME like the rest and it's not 150 fps! reeeeee!"
last week he said he "loved it" and "loves" the series although he already said the name was stupid and it looks "stupid". he's gonna pretend to like it for the first stream then go into how "IT'S THE SAME GAME REEEE!" and calls anyone who enjoys pokemon a "brain dead mouth drooling sissie

Loved Scarlet so much he didn’t play the DLC. Would’ve liked to see him rage against Kieran and Nemona again…
 
Pokemon will be a CHILL FUN time as long as YOU give him $20 to name his Pokemon. After that, the game sucks. Stupid Nintendo.

Hopefully Phil plays Ninja Gaiden above Baby Mode.

This is one of many of my phil pet peeves, but he always say Nintendo is the company that makes Pokémon. It’s fuckin’ game freak. Nintendo is the publisher. He said this every single fuckin’ time. You think he would know this by now.

Everyone already pointed out HypocrisitySydePhil, which is always funny AF, shows the kind of unaware retard he is LOL. But isolating this tweet alone (hoping for this to go viral btw) has a chance of opening the floodgates to all the troons, furries and pedos that are genuinely fucked up in the head and are much worse than any detractor out there, these fuckers got hands when you attack their fandoms.

It's one of Phil's many narcissism defense mechanisms. You see Phil literally can't be genuine or let himself be immersed in anything because of his crippling paranoia. So Phil does this clown act not treating the game or food or... lego (Phil really has nothing going on) like it deserves his attention, where its as if Phil was begged by someone to check out something that is really really cringe.

He is basically trying to come off as the cool older brother in an 80s movie who laughs at the cringe his little brother is playing.
 
I love how every first new playthrough he acts as if he never played a video game before, pressing all buttons being amazed at being able to change the camera with the stick. It's like before every new playthrough he gets a lobotomy.

In reality it's probably a defense mechanism so we can't say he's bad at the game

I stopped giving a shit about pokemon after emerald so I’m not 100% sure, but hasn’t tail whip been around since gen 1? I thought he played on his gameboy and is a veteran of the series???
 
It's fucking remarkable how severe the cognitive decline has been.
This game has a combat log on the right side of the screen that tracks any effects. Phil uses Tail Whip. It says on the side, in a big notification designed for the tiny Switch 2 screen in handheld, that the enemy's defense is lowered. "What does Tail Whip do? The game isn't telling me!"

Tail Whip has been the same for close to 30 years at this point, but nevermind that. The big fucking combat log should tell you all you need to know. Phil is then told by chat that it says on the right side of the screen. "On the right side of the screen? Uhhh... I don't see it!". Chat has to tell him to look again before he finally sees it.

This is on top of his usual routine of rubbing up against every little thing early on. Took like an hour and still clearly in the tutorial, did two whole battles.

Tail whip is a gen 1 move. Phil, besides retconing that he played Pokémon since blue, doesn’t know this basic moves and haven’t played Pokémon until his late 20s. Phil hates Pokémon. He should listen to the dents in chat since there is more hype about digimon with them than Pokémon. Even one of them wanted to buy the new digimon game for him. He said no and got bitchy about it. He’s such a shitty “businessman”
