I initially thought he was a drunk lunatic for wanting more competition. But I'm thinking it's more desperation. If streaming gets more traffic on Youtube, ad revenue would likely increase. Combined with the Legal REEgal Initiative to sue detractors, he might envision a life without begging.

I wouldn't say Youtube, Twitch, or Kick have any sort of "Who's the goodest" competition going on. They're just massive faceless corporations trying to turn a profit. If your google-fu is strong you can find all sorts of wretched shit on youtube. The only line of defense they have is "Well, certainly nobody could be jorkin' it to this." Youtube is quite literally too big to curate. Every day, millions of videos are uploaded. You think one or two naughty things aren't gonna make it on there, even just as a statistic? You can literally stumble upon feeder content on accident if you're just looking for milquetoast educational stuff like "How are hot cheetos made" or "How to store pancake batter".
Youtube has some pretty great stuff, but on the other side it definitely is just a daycare for retards, like with Phil's nontent. And a lot of the time it's the lowest common denominator stuff that gets pushed, too.
I know all of his "Normal, moral, upstanding, hardworking, blue collar, family man" speech rings hollow, at this point I'm just wondering how much of it he actually believes. Not so long ago his chat was running erotic roleplays of everyone raping Anonymouse at once. He had to be badgered by Kino to get rid of Derich. Again, I suppose it's part of the job. He's selling that fantasy to the dents that they're all a moral upstanding community rather than a bunch of people too dumb to understand they're being taken for a ride and their dented King. Bound to be a bunch of retards in there, because he curates anyone that is capable of even the slightest amount of pushback against his begging narratives, and retards on the internet tend to be sexual deviants too.
Ironically, online communities, specially communities of men where these subjects get brought up WILL bully the paraphillic retard into being, or at least acting somewhat normal. It's Phil's own no bullying no negativity no toxicity retarded tenets that keep his dents dented and unable to grow or change. Retard wrangling is an old and time honored manly tradition, and Phil's having none of it. This is why forums and freedom of speech are important and culturally significant and Reddit and echo chambers like Phil's streams are a fucking blight. When you need to shut the fuck up out of fear of offending a pajeet asking a woman for bobs and vagene instead of being allowed to shame the stupid pajeet into something resembling social acceptability, you have a problem.
With a 200K subs channel, Phil is in a better situation than most to foster a positive community, but it wouldn't serve his purpose. Much like youtube, Phil Burnell is just a businessman trying to ply his trade of fleecing retards out of their SSI checks. For all his claims of being a good person and having improved himself, he's as immoral as the next dime-a-dozen scammer on the internet. Fuck, he even has admitted to having scammer mentality, "If you give me money, that's my money, and I can do what I want with it." Just like Microsoft Support. If you open your wallet, he's outsmarted you, and that's the way of the world.
Couple that with the fact that he cares about optics over reality, I.E it doesn't matter if you ARE good, moral, an upstanding family man, it's all about CLAIMING to be these things and being PERCEIVED as such irregardless of the truth, and Phil's not only a spiritual boomer, he's a spiritual boomer woman. Linda really made a fucking mess. If he had any sort of talent at playing cozy games he'd attract a mostly female audience.

I had to search for whatever he was talking about. He said the whole state (sometimes just Renton) banned all forms of grilling. The only thing I could find was they passed laws helping to stop house fires since grilling by flammable surfaces isn’t a bright idea.
