True patricians know you are supposed too add an egg, some green onion and a few slices of Spam too your instant Ramen.
Real patricians know that you crush the noodles up into a flour in the pack, then you grab any meat or veggies you were able to squirrel away from the trays and add it in there with water and the sauce pack. Roll it up real tight, stick it under your pillow in your bunk. Then a few hours later, you unroll the plastic, boom. Ramen burrito.

non califag here, could you give a tldr on why it's unpopular even with Dems?
It’s unpopular because redistributing often gives too much power to areas that have no skin in the game. Even Californians like to feel like their representatives have actually lived in their area and the Newsome districting makes that all but impossible outside of Los Angeles and San Francisco

My cousin also explained that ca peace be upon it.

That they literally have a special commission to draw none Jerry mandered lines. The prop is literally to undo something.

It's a case of "oh another state is doing evil quick chain our hands so we might do the same evil to counter thier evil.

Fucking stupid

Why is the price of Ramen so high? Isn’t that supposed to be the main food source for college students?

I checked walmart.com and that's nearly thrice the price that I'm seeing on average, and over thrice for those exact noodles. The cups were always a luxury though, the bricks are still about $.30 a pack for 30% more noodle, vs $.50 for the cups

Being clear, 24 pack of packets or the cups?
I have never seen a 24 pack of cups. Though I guess somewhere like Costco would probably have them. I dunno maybe it’s just a local thing?

Just weirded me out because I remember they used to be like 18 cents a packet or something. Anyway sorry for the derail

We can harp about the details but in the end the left doesn’t care and uses the judiciary like a bludgeon no matter how much damage it does to the institution. Even if SCOTUS has already given them the ruling they don’t care- and the only goal is to waste time.

Even the Xitter conservative outrage and calls for these judges to be impeached or arrested is just cope, because congress is somehow powerless against these judicial freaks.

The better question to ask is of what ways Trump can push the GOP in congress to nuke the federal judge overreach once and for all, or what alternative ways he can go about dealing with the judicial dictatorship.

He got the BBB done and ICE funded, the next step is the NFJB (Nuke Federal Judges Bill).
One option but it requires Roberts to grow a spine and stop fearing being blacklisted from DC cocktail parties.

More room for more immigrants. In a few years it will be like London where only 10% of the population is white-ish.
Correct, and New York will effectively become Californized forever, much like London and its Muslim mayor there.

I personally don’t think spitefully ceding your prime metropole to your enemies is a good idea- better to have Mandami lose, as the extinction burst of the rapidly-aging Bernie Bro Millenial cohort.

Also breaking the New York bubble means that shitlibs will flood into and pozz other states IMO.

It's already there:

New York is also home to the highest Jewish population of any city in the world, numbering 960,000 in 2023, more than Tel Aviv and Jerusalem combined.
Those numbers are pre-Biden immigration and pre-covid emigration. If it wasn't for suburban commuters and tourists, you would rarely see White people in the city. This is also why the city was one of the worst hit by covid; the city's economy is completely dependent on non-residents.
