I was talking with a teacher, a white female teacher, who is every day getting closer and closer to being a closet racist.

I start to fish it up and have a moment of clairity, and give her a follow up

"wait before I give you this proof....if I deliver the screen shot, will you conced this point will we have agreement?"

She then amends her statement with "if its not doctored"

I then ask her "well how can you prove its doctored?"

No dear USPSG thread people, I have been formal taught epistemology and honestly drinking beer and arguing with over macking pot heads was too fucking much 20 years ago and I had the energy for it then, so I got off the phone.

I ve now started reaching out to people not to gloat but to "seek agreement" and try to disarm them by telling them I just want to know where we agree.

Take voter fraud and voter ID

I tell people for the claim of voter fraud, you just need to find one person on the rolls who shouldnt be there, and we are including dead people on the rolls then its a easy thing to prove.

you only need for one invalid vote for fraud to be real, and so I can get people to agree the voter fraud is real, but honestly a low bar.

Then I bring up how Jan 6th was an awful day, that happened because gosh darn dishonest people were screaming about voter fraud. And to prevent such threats elections but been scene as being legitimate. Else we could get another group of idots being lead by the golden trump pipe piper.

I can get people to agree to this, and I can get them to agree that while voter ID is bad, because black people are almost legally retarded, the real work to insure the security of elections should not happen on election day, but instead when people are put on the voter roll, thats when eligibility should be check and verified. not on election.

The men I know will put up with my method, the women just get fucking pissed off.

This is a concerning bottom-up political phenomena as it shows that the so called "NPC" A term I reject for its nature of being meant to make it appear as if they don't have any agency at all, which lets other that internalized the term as reality let their guard down are not able to be herded anymore by those that delivered their talking points in the past. These cats are feral now, with the democrats HAVING TO appeal to them as their last reliable voting base demographic, leading to the democrats clinging and defending their last material postitions of power on state and local level more dangerous.
I certainly don't believe in Historical Materialism, but this is having ugly parallels to when the Social Democrats lost control over their voting Base in the Weimar republic and half being gobbled up by the NSDAP and the other by the Communists

It's good to attempt to nail someone down like that in advance, but that's a bad follow up question. Instead, ask someone what standard they normally apply to anything offered as proof in order to determine whether or not it's doctored or false in some way. If they're being at all honest the answer is somewhere between nothing at all and the extent to which what is on offer supports or contradicts their preconceived notions. Disarming people who are being intellectually dishonest requires keeping them on the back foot.

It's unlikely that a person will change their worldview so easily, but if they leave a conversation realizing that they know they're full of shit, that you know they're full of shit, and that you know that they know that they're full of shit, it's going to chip away at whatever carefully constructed reality they're hiding behind. The mind can only tolerate a certain amount of cognitive dissonance and a person becoming consciously aware that they're not just lying to themselves, but that other people know that they're lying to themselves is not something that many people can overcome. Even if they try to run and hide away the truth, they'll know that their secret can never be truly safe.

Los Angeles County declares state of emergency over immigration raids​

The declaration was passed on Tuesday by a 4-1 vote.

Los Angeles County officials voted on Tuesday to declare a state of emergency over ongoing federal immigration raids.

The proclamation gives the county the power to assist residents they say have been impacted financially by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) action.

The declaration was introduced by County Supervisors Lindsey P. Horvath and Janice Hahn and passed by a 4-1 vote, with Supervisor Kathryn Barger opposing.

Los Angeles County is home to over 3 million immigrants, according to supervisors, who said the ICE raids have "caused widespread fear" and led to "decreased attendance at workplaces, disruption of local economies, and strain on critical services such as schools, hospitals, and places of worship."

Rent relief for tenants who have fallen behind as a result of the ICE raids and money for legal aid and other services are among the provisions in the declaration.

The vote on Tuesday allows county supervisors to mobilize resources, request state and federal financial assistance to respond to the impacts of the raids and expedite contracting to address the crisis.

"What’s happening in our communities is an emergency — and Los Angeles County is treating it like one," said Horvath in a press release."Declaring a Local Emergency ensures that the full weight of County government is aligned to support our immigrant communities who are being targeted by federal actions."

ICE raids started in Los Angeles early June, prompting demonstrations that at times turned violent.

While Trump’s deportation push was initially said to be centered around undocumented immigrants with criminal records, an ABC News analysis of data in July showed that the Trump administration has arrested an increasing number of migrants with no criminal convictions.

"For months, families have lived under threat and workers have been taken from job sites," Horvath continued. "This proclamation is about action and speed — it allows us to move faster, coordinate better, and use every tool available to protect and stabilize our communities. We will continue to stand with our immigrant neighbors — today, and for as long as it takes."

The emergency declaration will remain in effect until terminated by the board, according to the release.
