A peace treaty is generally signed by the sides that were at war with eachother. Neither Israel or Palestine signed it or were even present. Also, reports of ceasefire violations are already coming in.

Tbh if you read about how rich people were expected to act in the past and the social obligations they used to be held to, it's easy to be disgusted with the wealthy we see today. Like yes wealthy people have existed forever but they had a social obligation to give back to their communities, provide jobs, provide medicine and food when illnesses were going around, opening libraries, etc. We just dont see any of that these days and it's really demoralizing.

The term for this is noblesse oblige. The rich get away with murder (sometimes literally) but they give us a few crumbs. Now they hoard everything because they’re autistic technolibertarians that treat wealth like a high score in a video game. They’ve been getting away with it because flatscreen TVs, Netflix, and comfort food is cheap but that is changing. Lots of examples throughout history of what happens when they don’t kick over something once in a while but they’re megalomaniacal and delusional enough to believe it’ll never happen to them.
