That got me wondering, was Libertarianism always this bad and I just never got deep into it enough to notice, or did it go off the rails at some point when I wasn't paying attention?
Libertarianism is two things.

One of them is a highly idealistic—actually, fucking preposterous—philosophy of government. It attracts smart nerds because it seems anti-idealistic, and it's built on some insightful critiques of extant systems. Marxism for the unfuckable.

It would "work" if forced—and brutally enforced so it doesn't become something else (some "Hoppean" libertarians understand this)—on Germanic/Nordic type white people and maybe Japs. Everyone else loves corruption too much. But acknowledging any human particularity is against the libertarian rules. We are all one characterless non-species, homo economicus. Axiomatically. Thus, inevitably...

Libertarians—not the philosophers themselves but the followers, party members, etc.—are just standard-issue shitlib faggots who are ashamed of it (rightly). They may start out as teenage Randians or whatever, but gradually their principles become lies to hide an ever purer partisanship. Contrary to stereotype, they age into "liberalism" (i.e., whatever Democrats say today). Penn Jillette is exemplary, but any libertarian who doesn't get called a "nazi" by other libertarians will do. Rand and Massie have recently sighted their exit ramp.

Trump does the thing he said he was going to do to the benefit of everyone and journalists and free Palestine zoomers can't stop bitching about how it's actually a bad thing

They can't let Trump have this one, crying about Palestine and TDS have been molded together for too long. Somehow, orange man must be the villain for saving Palestine.
It’s mainly because he didn’t save Palestine NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!:'(

If you are wealthy enough to build a super-secret security bunker for yourself and your family in the event of The Big One™, you also likely have the good sense to ensure said bunker is large and comfortable enough to accommodate not only you and your family, but also your essential staff and security personnel and their families too -- and to make sure they know it.
Counterpoint: if you're wealthy enough to build a DoomBunker you're probably retarded. This is the same class of people that keep finding new and hilariously retarded ways to kill their golden geese.

Friendly reminder China is doing all of this posturing since they’re fucked internally:

sounds like they need some Elite Human Capital (TM). It would just be terrible if all the Indians left the US and went to China. That would absolutely be devastating to the US. No China, that will give you too much power over the US and the world. Nooo.

Is it true the random Venezuelan woman who won the Peace Prize just so they didn't have to give it to Trump dedicated it to Trump herself anyway?
she did give props to trump in a speech, she's venezuelan opposition and wants trumps america to help and support her in her quest to overthrow the maduro regime.

i do understand why they wouldn't consider trump for the prize tbh. US military assets are deployed around venezuela, many see this buildup as a prelude to invasion, war and regime change. i don't know how this situation will play out, but if i were in charge of handing out a peace prize i would be very hesitant about giving it to trump in this situation, because i really don't want to end up being the guy who gave a peace prize to someone who then invades another country a few months later.

Tldr Israelis got addicted to the status quo and didn't keep up with reality. It's called the conceptia, happened with Egypt in 73 as well

Trump is really behind schedule. He's just arriving at Egypt and he's been scheduled to leave Egypt at this time
Did bibi let it happen? I heard they charged the fence multiple times in the weeks leading up. I know the government was about to fall apart again.

A reminder that when they awarded the Prize to Obama after 8 months in office he literally used it as an opportunity to make a speech where he talked about how awesome military intervention in the Middle East is.

He sent 30k additional troops to Afghanistan 53 days (~around 7 weeks) later and started a regime change campaign in Libya the following year.

Are there really no female hostages left?
Most of the ones who survived were released early same with the children and elderly( though a lot of those ones ended up dead) men in their prime would have been the ones who could survive the extreme abuse that comes with imprisonment as a hostage the best especially considering how they must have been squirreled away in some dank cave beneath a rubble field.

I like this wall of text, thank you for actually being sensible and providing information as opposed to sperging the fuck out like many of the people in here did. You changed my opinion on something which rarely happens.
People sperged because what you were saying was like self evidently retarded. You shouldn’t need walls of text to have common sense

I like how westerners refer to Asanuma Inejiro as a "commie", meanwhile Japanese sources unironically call him a "National Socialist"

On the other hand, his assassin Yamaguchi Otoya belonged to an extremely pro-USA far right group that literally micspammed the Star-spangled Banner in public.

In essence, it was a right wing simp for China getting murdered by a right wing simp for the USA.
It should also be noted this was extremely convenient for the USA as Asanuma was the most influential figure standing in the way of the US-Japan Security Treaty (Anpo), which went on to severely undermine the sovereignty of Japan and still does so to this day.

So Asanuma supported the leader of his party (this guy) in becoming the Japanese equivalent of a Beefsteak Nazi well before the end of WW2 and certainly decades before his own death, big whoop. Do you really think it was impossible for him to have changed since then, to the extreme of trying to realign with Mao's China which at the time was the hip, younger & even more radical Communist power compared to the Soviet Union and would have represented a theoretical complete antithesis to what Asanuma originally claimed to stand for? (The feeling was mutual BTW, Mao literally thanked the Japanese for invading China because without their kneecapping of the KMT, the CCP never would've won the Chinese Civil War, and he advocated the same reverse-pan-Asian unity with China dominant vs. the US that Asanuma did.)

Asanuma would not have been even close to being the first prominent politician from one of the Axis Powers to have gotten so buckbroken after WW2 that he executed a political 180, BTW. East Germany for example liked to pretend that they had denazified 'properly' and purged every single NSDAP guy from influence unlike the cowardly degenerate fascist-adjacent West which sucked up to them instead, but in reality they absolutely employed Nazi generals and card-carrying NSDAP members not only in the National People's Army but even in their parliament & government ministries, ex. Vincenz Mueller (former two-star general in the Wehrmacht, later second-in-command of the East German military which he helped build up) and Hans Reichelt (Agriculture & Environment Minister). Turns out that political & military leaders from fallen totalitarian regimes could certainly be opportunistic & ideologically flexible the world over.

Y'know, that's the odd thing. Dispensationalism despite what adherents say is a super recent ideology. One that seems to grow larger the less religious and Christian America becomes....
Dispensationalism is a 20th century Protestant heresy popularized by the like of televangelist Jerry Falwell, who was given a Lear Jet by Israel in 1979 as a reward for being a good shabbos goy.

Prior to the fraudulently edited Scofield Reference Bible (1909) there was no mainstream Christian denomination that believed in dispensationalism or the related abomination of 'Christian Zionism'. It has as much theological legitimacy as Joseph Smith's magic gold plates.

People sperged because what you were saying was like self evidently retarded. You shouldn’t need that to have common sense
If you intend to change peoples minds (which is the entire point in arguing) then you need to be providing information and ensure that you yourself don't drop down poorly formatted emotionally charged walls of text that say a whole bunch of nothing.
