I like how westerners refer to Asanuma Inejiro as a "commie", meanwhile Japanese sources unironically call him a "National Socialist"

On the other hand, his assassin Yamaguchi Otoya belonged to an extremely pro-USA far right group that literally micspammed the Star-spangled Banner in public.

In essence, it was a right wing simp for China getting murdered by a right wing simp for the USA.
It should also be noted this was extremely convenient for the USA as Asanuma was the most influential figure standing in the way of the US-Japan Security Treaty (Anpo), which went on to severely undermine the sovereignty of Japan and still does so to this day.

Nimrod is an evil character in the Bible. He built the tower of Babel, attempted to murder Abraham twice (once as a baby and once as an adult when he cast Abraham into the furnace), and championed idol worship.

The Zionists who founded Israel liked to pick biblical names without thinking about the character traits of the person who bore the name. Nimrod means rebellious and the Zionists were rebelling against the British.
