There is something called "seasoning training" which is supposed to teach financial literacy amongst other things. It clearly doesnt work as E3e take loans for $60k cars from predatory lenders and then go to the family readiness office to beg for relief grants and loans. These people are beyond help

To be fair it isn’t just soldiers. Most Americans just are not taught anything like how to set a financial plan or set goals beyond buying the new iPhone.

These guys go straight from high school or college into the millitary and never really grow up. Their room and board is paid for and most of them treat it like dorm life. It is not uncommon for them to blow their whole paycheck the weekend they get it. There is car dealerships around each base stocked entirely with the stupid premium model cobras and trucks giving them loans with insane interest where their payments are 800/mo. I heard a story about a guy who kept getting written up because his hair was not in compliance and he literally could not save up enough to pay a barber. His CO had to take him and pay for a freaking haircut.

I'm 50 50 on whom the blame will settle on here. Appalachia's having a.. weird time with the shit, lot of back and forth going on rn. And the shit with the new base isn't really settling people down, thats got a lot of people fuckin' pissed over this shit.

Either way it has caused Trump to tell Xi to Fuck Off and trigger a death spiral for Chinese manufacturing. And further to cancel the big meeting with Xi next week.

Xi's not looking very strong.

None of this is a good thing as should General Sum Dum Fuk take over he will likely attack Taiwan. He's been the one pushing the envelope. Rumor is he attempted to invade back in 2023 under the guise of a War Game. Xi pulled the rug out from them. Xi had been rolling up the Generals friends for corruption. But now Xi's Generals are getting popped.

Odds are Nothing Ever Happens and this will all blow over by November. But there is a possibility of things taking a nasty turn. Ask yourself. Why did Trump really assemble all the Flag Officers last week? What were the Non-Public meetings about? Indications are it was "prepare to fight".
