American Leftist heroes are all fictional characters (G.I. Robot), schizophrenic anti-social freaks who achieved nothing of value (John Brown), or people who would completely despise them (Sherman).
But like wasn't John Brown also a religious dude? Wouldn't he probably hate these commie reddit atheist types?

Probably. This is really the case for anyone if you go back far enough would probably hate commie Americans today. I generally side with the perspective John Brown was mainly motivated by the fact he was clearly an unhinged crazy person with the religiosity being a secondary factor. His Puritan faith did certainly seem fanatical though.

No, they love Sherman because he organized the systemic looting and murder of white southerners, who they retroactively associate with their current political opposition.
I like Sherman because chattel slavery is the most Jewish of enterprises aside from usury
Also Judah P. Benjamin and Grant expelling all the Jews from territory he occupied

Any sources on ancient Roman or Chinese emperors/politicians that say crazy things should be taken with a grain of salt. Too many power players trying to write people into a negative light for challenging them.
We do know that Commodus was obsessed with fighting as a gladiator and he commissioned multiple artworks (we have some of them) of himself as Hercules wearing the pelt of the Nemean lion. He frequently performed in the arena and, as emperor, the outcome was surely fixed, and much of his "performance" was slaughtering animals. My favorite story, and I choose to believe it's true because it's funny, is that he brought a slaughtered animal's head before the senators in attendance and made a gesture that they were next, and the senators apparently found this as amusing as I do.

I'm not sure how highly Commodus ranks as a tyrant, but all this spectacle was wasteful and his behavior was seen as degrading to the office of the emperor.

Lesser of Two Weevils is a new channel about the age of sail, age of discovery, Napoleonic wars, British empire, East India Company and Royal Navy and all that stuff that seems to be at least partially inspired by the stories fictionalized in the Aubrey-Maturin novels.

This is why I do not read historical fiction like this; I don't want any fiction possibly influencing my views of history even on a subconscious level. Way too many people think Hollywood having a "based on a true story" thing in the opening credits means it's 100% accurate to what actually happened. There are seriously people who think Princess Anastasia escaped being slain along with the rest of her immediate family, for example.

People like him love Sherman because they want to use him as an anti-racism symbol, meanwhile Sherman in the Indian Wars talked about killing every last Sioux Indian down to the women and children (the idea being Sioux children grow up to be Sioux killers of whites and make more Sioux). However, that's conveniently ignored because of muh culture war.

The March to Sea was good tactics, but it should be seen as a tragedy. Slaves were freed, but they just followed his campaign as a destitute starving column. Cotton farming destroyed the soil so there was also less incentive to rebuild destroyed infrastructure. The region was just fucked after this campaign. This also happened at the tail end of the war so you could argue that it was unneeded.

Atun Shei's veganism is interesting...

Kinda interesting that his idea falls apart immediately. Humans ARE special.

Although I kinda disagree with his idea of moral reasoning. I think animals have an understanding of right and wrong. I have seen it.

They don't care. They just get to celebrate poor white desecration while being smugly moral

RAF raid on Bohlen in 1945, used as a snapshot of RAF raids during the late war and a showcase of the use of electronic warfare.

You guys think Cody is a Farmer? I mean he has put a BMJ clip in one of his videos and if I remember correctly there was also a Chris Chan clip.
I doubt it Chris chan is as mainstream as they come and BMJ has been making the rounds as reaction gifs. I'd say he's aware of the lolcow sphere and maybe the farms but I doubt he uses it.
