That's exactly what I thought. Him being abusive to his dog isn't surprising, Muslims hate them and there is no other explanation as to why it stays in that one spot all day, everyday. If the dog really did get clipped, you would think the first thing he would do would be to check up on it to see if it is okay, both because it's the right thing to do and for easy sympathy points from his audience. A good glimpse into how inhuman these streamer "people" are. The dog has to stay in frame because it is part of his brand. His emotes and sub jingles/donos are all branded with the dog. He probably got coached into finding something recognisable to tie into his image like that in order to appear more likable and resemble something human. So he profits off this cute dog and brands all his stuff with her, and he just sees her as a stupid prop.
