Of course, because it's a larp/hobby project for most of them. They're not die-hard revolutionaries for whom a glorious death to the guns of the imperialist dogs is preferable to a life of cowardice and subservience.

I think it's more about them being bougie theater kid lumpenproles who've never faced any real hardships and who always had the local gov. there to bail them out. They really do see themselves as glorious revolutionaries; it's just that most of them are too bitch-made to do anything truly effective. Of course. They're spoiled, theater kids and drug riddled lumpenproles LARPing as revolutionaries. All their protests are about theatrics without facing real consequences. They have paid agitators supplying them bricks, sympathetic local governments that don't arrest or charge them for serious crimes and the legacy media and reddit running cover for their asses. Trump siccing the Feds on them put a wrench in their plans and sent them panicking.

But in that panic, some of them are bound to get violent and lash out in mass shootings. Thankfully, most of them are incompetent fuckups that barely know anything about guns and how to use them.

I said this in a another thread today, but my theory is Antifa, like every other position or guise transgenders take, is defined only by their absolute extreme elements. This is done because neither are actually coherent worldviews or ideas that they could individually articulate or defend, they are manufactured political organizations where everyone has a self-understanding of a shared identity. The people shooting ICE agents and celebrating Charlie Kirk's murder basically defined Anitfa's intent for all the LARPers and casual travellers - yes, you are now a terrorist organization on American soil. And they have to follow through somehow, or be exposed as fake - like their gender identity.

So now you have a 'resistance' group largely comprised of people who literally do this to avoid consequences or think about reality facing a real force that has to take them seriously. They were nothing without the Biden government's indulgence, or the media's silence, or the fake Nazis they could pull out of a hat. They're just maladjusted, spoiled stunted losers who wanted to feel power, led into this by the criminally insane.

Before I thought about this idea, I thought they would have simply bailed the fuck out while talking smack, but I realise they actually can't do it. They have to be edgy retards because not doing so betrays the false political character that their self-wroth is defined by.

So yes, many of them are pretending up to the point where they can't pretend.
 
The difference between antifa and fascists is that the fascists are honest when they say they want power to crush their enemies and bring about a new order. Also the fascists have much better sense of aesthetics and beauty, whereas the antifascists literally worship the ugly and the revolting because their obsession with revolution extends to even wanting to up end the most basic of human nature.
