And in Austin's case Derrick didn't even need(I doubt he event wanted to) inflict pain. We all know Austin talks big but he's a...well, a softie. All Derrick had to do was tell him he'll burn his house down with him and his parents inside if he doesn't get 5k in 10 days or whatever and Austin would turn the world upside down and get the money. I believe Derrick is "street smart" enough to know how to properly work a borderline retarded crack fiend from an upper middle class family - threaten his security aka his parents and the roof over his head.

Derrick knows that 10k go through Austin's hands probably quicker than through his own. He just needs to be scared enough to stop losing literally all of it for a few days and boom he's got 5k secured. Half the debt is paid. And Austin knows the only real loaner is Derrick. Discord rats lining for their $200 juicers get binned. But the OG nigger who could break into your house and set you on fire in your sleep? That's someone you pay back to. Austin may be retarded but he's got enough juice left to connect the dots.

Very curious as to what exactly led to the arrest. Haven't read through all the replies and I'll do that tomorrow but there must've been some weird fuckery going on and that hot mic call he made played a part. Definitely not a probation violation arrest. They could arrest him for that every hour of every day in the past few months but he gets arrested for possession at 1AM after the hot mic call?

I was so convinced last time the judge was going to rain fire and brimstone on him (and then didn’t) that I’m going to keep an open mind on how brief his stint is going to be.

But as a repeat offender eventually his luck has to run out.
