I just take the view that whatever money Chantal brings in is more than what he’d normally see, and that it gives him an excuse to not get a job in the regular workforce. The couples channel was his playground.

Friday (Jumu'ah) in Muslim-majority countries

The event: The main event is the midday congregational prayer, which typically lasts for 1 to 2 hours.

The obligation: All adult Muslim men are obligated to attend.

Shopping and business: Shops and offices close during the prayer but are open before and after. The Quran explicitly tells believers to resume their business once the prayer is over. In many Muslim-majority countries, Friday (or Friday/Saturday) is the weekend, so many businesses are closed all day, similar to a Western weekend schedule.

Effect on daily life: The disruption to daily commerce is minimal and scheduled. Services like doctors, police, and hospitals operate normally throughout the day.

I don't believe this happened, but it's illuminating to see what she thinks is a credible story. Maybe one day she will do 6x insulin on an empty stomach and actually suffer some consequences.

She has never been more insane. Love that she's painting herself further and further into an unsustainable corner.

Can't believe that Salah missed another chance to ghost her. It would be the single funniest thing to happen in her in her online career.

Reviewing her story again today, she claimed she took 30 units of Lantus. We don't know her normal dose range so that's not helpful in itself, but she implied it was a lot more than normal. That was on top of purposefully not eating (because she didn't want to have to use the bathroom on the plane) plus more physical exertion than normal walking through the airport. If any of this actually happened, the ingredients were there for her to have a hypoglycemic episode.

She also claimed her blood sugar was 14 when she decided to take the large dose of Lantus (above 250 mg/kg in freedom glucose units). That is very high, consistent with someone whose diabetes is not under control in any way.

I think she doesn't measure her blood sugar often so the fact that she did at this particular time may mean she planned this whole thing in advance so as to be purposefully designated unable to fly. It seems unusual toiming for her to suddenly decide to be compliant with any aspects of her beetus management plan.

I looked it up myself, and because Friday is considered the start of the weekend, doctors' clinics could very well be closed, with only hospitals and emergency services remaining open. That being said, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if after "seeing the doctor," she tells us that he said that due to her fragile physical and mental health he advises her against travel for the next [insert number of] months.

The only anxoity she has is about leaving Salah in Syria unsupervised.

She is an addict and that is where her drug of choice is.
Why sabotage a trip that would take her to where she WANTS to be?

That is in fact, a thought I hadn't considered. It does seems that organizations like Doctors Without Borders provides something similar to walk in clinics in Syria. Of course, that might be only in the super fucked up areas, and we dont exactly know where she is, but the idea of her rolling up to a Red Cross tent because she may or may not have fainted and wasting people's time is kind of a little frustrating.

I think it was said before: the only place Chantal has that she can probably get at this place is her mother’s house, or her aunt’s house, and she has no way to leave that dwelling, so there’s no way to escape any potential rules or restrictions on her behavior.
