The bureaucrats aren't corrupt -- politicians hate competition and put extensive processes and oversight in place to ensure no one else getting their fingers in the pie.

Soybean oil, which along with canola oil and other industrialized oils make up about 20% of calories Americans consume.
Eat up!

Plus soy protein isolates for processed food slop, tofu, tempeh, and edamame.
Also the non-human edible stuff goes to cows to supplement their feed. as well as soybean meal which can be used for chickens and pigs as well.

So arguably it largely goes to food (industrial oil and processed foods) that worsen American health with some helpful uses like livestock feed and actual food (tofu, soy sauce, etc).

The Great Government Meme War of 2025 is pretty great, but I think they should escalate things even further. Trump should make his next public appearance with a mariachi band while wearing a mariachi costume. And/or Trump should stipulate that the government will only resume functioning if Hakeem and Schumer agree to appear with Trump while wearing sombreros and fake mustaches.

Growing stuff is fun and the government has sucked the life out of it with mandates. I get food security. When we are sending everything to china and importing Tomatoes from Canada, we have issues. We do not have food security currently at all.
