I can't stand that even with how eloquently she wrote the piece, they can't help but spin it into some "lol deranged woman freaks out". It's deeply disrespectful, and if she really was that unhinged; the piece would speak for itself, instead of having to write an article about it.

It's their version of, "u mad bro?" Imaging their opponent as angry amuses them, even if it's entirely fanfiction.

Kinda feel like im flailing fatly against the tide here but I still remember JK marching side by side with the shrieking censorship mob with regards to silencing internet mockery/criticism under the pretext of "stopping hate speech and muh harassment" right until the moment a critical mass of troons denounced her for badthink and the rest of the mob quickly tore in to her when she failed to produce the grovelling perpetual apology demanded of her

As much as I appreciate the turn of the worm with troonery and acknowledge she wound up being a useful asset in this regard due to how her milquetoast takes resulted in very literal public chimpouts by the grotesquery that is the IRL troon activist sphere which redpilled a hell of a lot of normies, let us not delude ourselves into thinking she is #ourguyal or that there is not a good chance she won't resume her place at the head of the mob when the troon shit is fully Old Yeller'd

To quote someone with a very large, musky, and bulbous cawk when the whole High Court Hootenanny went down

Don't worry, some of us have been around long enough to remember.

I don't put much stock in her, but she certainly ran Watson through with that letter. I don't think Emma has the chops to argue against Rowling on this sort of thing,

All celebrities had to do was to say "I disagree with him/her, but I still consider them a friend and I respect them". A lot of them fail bad at doing this not only work Jo, but with others. If you don't agree with their views, not only you're wrong: you're evil.

Emma, specifically, didn't necessarily called Jo evil, but the phrasing of her words said this to her audience of young impressionable people who targeted Jo. She didn't mind either and she, stupidly, hopes that the pressure would make Jo change her mind and cater to her and never gave her a chance. She deserves all she's getting now.

Interesting... can you find an example of this face? I would like to learn how to identify BPD from a facial expression as well.
Check for Hermione scenes and you see Emma has this thing when she takes a breath, tightens her nose, and then "acts". She's the weakest actor of the whole bunch. Even the Seamus guy is more natural.

Seeing her mention her anger over Dan and Emma, but not Rupert (Ron), is he good or just less tranny crazy than the former two?
IICR, Rupert grew up in a more middle class environment than the other two, so I'm gonna take that he knows what Jo talks about when she said that Emma doesn't know what's to share a public bathroom with a man, but he still needs to keep his PR clean so he has to give troons support.

That was always obvious. Anyone who didn't see it from the beginning is a Hufflepuff.
Speaking of, Miriam Margolis has been quite vocal defending troons, but she didn't throw Jo under the bus.

My boy Cedric (Robert Pattinson) never knelt before the rainbow flag either
He had an interview when he was giving all the common woke points, though. But as I said of Grint, I give him the benefit of the doubt that they're just trying to protect their careers.

Where can I get that hat???
It's called a chullo, and we're having them for the next kiwi merch sell : p

It was atrocious. Stilted acting, over busy designs, and a complete failure to grasp the characters and their romance. I wanted Gaston to win.

The whole teaching the girls to read was Watsons thing because she was trying to push world wide literacy for girls (a fine goal) in clueless, elite ways such as making it a theme for a movie those girls and their families would never see.

The original Belle character was not considered odd by the locals for reading, but for obsessively reading fantasy and having an eccentric father and even then she was still liked.

What's even more insulting towards the legacy of Beauty and the Beast is the oldest written version was WRITTEN BY A WOMAN. IN FRANCE. PRIOR TO THE SETTINGS APPROXIMATE TIME PERIOD.

"Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve was the French author who wrote the oldest known version of the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bête), first published in 1740 in the anthology La jeune américaine, et les contes marins."

I didn't even pay to see the movie and I'm still furious.
I watched the movie and it was cheaply made, a sad irony if we remember that BatB was the first animated movie to be nominated for best picture due to how beautifully made it was.

My fav part was that Belle was so smart that she invented the washing machine, which she used to do her laundry while she kept reading her books. At no moment she thought this could help so many people, specially women, and we're expected also to believe that the townspeople were afraid of such technology because they were that backward.

As far as I know, Grint bought an ice cream truck because that was something that made him happy as a child. Literally the last I heard of him.
Absolute winning, IMO, compared to Watson and Radcliffe consorting with rapist pedophiles hoping for another 15 minutes.
Found this video while searching for "hermione punches malfoy scene"
Imagine growing up as someone who conceptualized violence as something done via spooky action at a distance and then some filthy mudblood uses their physical hand to physically touch your physical face. It probably wouldn't hurt, she's a 14 year old girl, but the sheer idea of it would be disorienting and perhaps traumatizing. Hermione fist-raped Draco in the face.
See, this is why I hate the British. It's all "high streets" and "councils" and "centres" with these people. And don't even get me started with putting an extra "u" in words that don't need it like "honor" or "color". Your language is weird and your island smells.
Nearly all of the changes to "British" English are due to post-revolutionary francophilia. It's FRENCH English.
And to a lesser extent some weird-ass affectations due to nobody being willing to make fun of the Royal family's ESL/German accents.

The closest extant speakers of British English are probably in Georgia or Alabama.
For the life of me I never understood why she had to turn to being Weinstein’s little fleshlight.
Watson may have had decamillions in the bank, but all she was going to hear from anyone who wanted to continue working in Hollywood after Weinstein let it be known he wanted first crack at Hermione's leather donut was that they'd be thrilled to set up a meeting with Miramax for her. Granted, she still chose to take the meeting/meating.

I suspect those photos of Harvey and Emma, when she was 19, right after the final Potter movie, was very possibly the last straw for a lot of people who had watched her growing up over the past decade. And it still took another 5+ years to get him designated as an approved target. Without GamerGate and the Fappening along the way, he might still be giving starlets anal warts to this day.

Unfortunately, the acting talent hasn't notably improved, but at least there aren't as many attractive white women. Zendaya! YOU GO GIRL!
The most curiosity I have about this show is if they ever appropriately address the main female dwarf's (lack of) beard.
I assume they do not because I've never gotten the impression anyone involved knows or cares they're spitting in the face of Eru Iluvatar (and Aule).
Even the girl and guy from Twilight I could tell you other movies they were in.
I can't think of anything Edward has been in that I've bothered watching, even accidentally, but Underwater (2020) was the last film I saw in theaters before the economic lockdowns and it's Very Okay (TJ Miller excluded). With Radcliffe, I remember seeing Horns and Swiss Army Man and Guns Akimbo. Only non-Potter film I can remember seeing with Watson was the end of the world one and it's basically a cameo where they call her Hermione, IIRC... I think that was part of a Bad Movies Only marathons with the likes of Velocipastor and Llamageddon (both of which are films I would recommend over whatever the other one is named).
there are paragraphs in those books that look like they were tortured into being by some long suffering editor
If you read the American versions, they literally may have been.

You'd think such a strong feminist and women's rights advocate would also feel personally bothered about mass rape from third worlders who want to bring sharia.

Who says she is not?

Maybe pull your pants up over your giant maggot white belly, and do something about mohammedan rape-apes yourself, rather than harangueing a middle aged woman for not fixing all of societys ills in one sitting.

FAGGOT

He's a bit too into bringing up his Potter past
The guy who played Scut Farkus does "I'm the guy who played Scut Farkus" for a living and everyone's fine with it. So does the chick who played Greedo.

PS, thread tourists are so butthurt that Rowling makes a distinction between "rape gangs" and "women fleeing a flaming dumpster full of flaming skeletons and also rape gangs" that the fucking site owner had to come in here to sweep. Calm the fuck down, you unemployable fatasses.

They're not mad about the rape gangs, they're mad about the kill-steal/spawn camping being done by the rape gangs. Those girls were supposed to be their property once they turned 14, not some WOP's.

we're expected also to believe that the townspeople were afraid of such technology because they were that backward.
You might want to go take a look at Northern France, especially Lorraine.

Very few people can make the kind of change JKR has in even one major societal issue, and there are losers in this thread mad that she hasn't done it a second time with immigration?
If a woman does something that improves material conditions for women, the butt-hurt always resort to this kind of whattaboutism. It's like clockwork.
Oh, you made it so more girls in your town could attend an after-school program? Well, why haven't you also solved the national debt crisis and cured leukemia, you bitch? If your feminism doesn't include men, thieves, the left-handed, bisexuals, everyone in Ohio, and cake decorators, then it's not really feminism!
You'd think such a strong feminist and women's rights advocate would also feel personally bothered about mass rape from third worlders who want to bring sharia.
J.K. Rowling felt so "personally bothered" about rape that she created and funded a women's only rape crisis center and shelter, called Biera's Place. She had to navigate troon sharia and fund the the whole thing herself to make it women only.

For Emma, she will never really have to deal with the consequences, I’m sure she’s got plenty of money. No kids, so no need to worry about them. She will likely face a fading star, because she isn’t a very good actress, and people disagreeing with her as the pendulum swings - that’s likely to be a big narcissistic injury, but it’s still not the same as being in a run down NHS ward next to a male rapist with a fetish. They never learn.
I feel bad for Emma to the extent that it must have been very difficult to be a young actress with lots of male attention on her as she transitioned into adulthood—on top of the normal pedowood problems of being a child actress. Some of her issues must have been exacerbated by being aware at a very young age that a huge amount of male sexual attention was laser focused on her. As I recall, there were subreddits counting down the seconds until she reached the age of 18. That's not healthy for a growing child.

Men only ever mention horrific unforgivable rapes against men when they want to complain about women. "What about prison rape???" then do absolutely nothing about it except laugh at then shun men who talk about it.

Did you know male strangers will confide in a woman about their rape at the hands of a brother, father, classmate, and sometimes girlfriend, after meeting her maybe an hour earlier in a pub? That's how unsupportive you are to your brothers. A random alcoholic female waiting for her friend to finish work is less hateful and judgemental to your best friend than you are. Multiple men throughout her life will tell her their terrible secrets even if she's a piece of shit by female standards.

Very few people can make the kind of change JKR has in even one major societal issue, and there are losers in this thread mad that she hasn't done it a second time with immigration? She would be a much less successful spokeswoman on that topic, for one thing. She's such a good writer on transgenderism because (besides being a good writer generally) it upsets her on a personal level. She won't be able to bring that heat to another topic.

I challenge this crowd to be the change you wish to see, and to start doing work to stop the brown invasion yourselves. Rather than getting mad that an old lady has other priorities.
If she turns now on immigration she gets labeled by UK Labour, some Tories whose heads are on the block already, and then she'll start getting calls from Nigel Farage's staff.

None of this sounds terribly exciting or personally fulfilling.

I am pretty sure she knows what happens in Birmingham at night and much of the rest of England thats been thoroughly invaded.

The irony of it all is killing Jess Phillips MP's career (in charge of the safety of women and girls in the UK!)

The English Language is your greatest weapon. You have Grok to help you. You still have a wide open path to attack the government without getting your house raided and labeled a Prevent terrorist. Up your language game.

Be the sassy gay guy. Crush them.

This shit reads like one of many interactions I witnessed in my teens. People needlessly bitchslapping each other only for one to eventually go "nah lmao whatever wanna hang out?", but whether it was at age 18 or 23, the response would be what Watson had hoped for; "fine i guess", not the more mature "Nigger fr?"

Good point! Not only was France a scientific leader of the world during much of this time period, the washing machine freed up the labor of women probably more than any invention in all of human history. No joke, in the Victorian time period laundry took the entire week to complete with all the needed steps and drying periods.

Another massive failure of research and perspective!

That's helpful and informative. Why aren't british kiwimen doing this one simple trick? Are they really so afwaid to drop the odd Dad's Army quote in public? You sure are a little bitch if you can't handle a few frowny faces from girls in line at the supermarket.

If she grew up as a pretty girl with BPD she might be extremely used to the large number of us who fall for it every time (also every time we meet a new one) and like when she pays attention to us again.
