I am betting their some backroom deal to allow this.
Yeah, Pfizer got taken out back and told you're going to do it or Trump is going personally fuck them up for lying about COVID.

And then the other hand opened and Pfizer found out they get to make a shit ton of money by offering drugs at bulk with gov back money from MEDICAID

as far as I was ever told anyone on deck when the 16 inch'ers are fired well, hearing loss would be the least of your issues. The concussion alone would probably kill you, not to mention the over-pressure of air leaving the barrels or thunderclap of the sonic boom of the shells.

Yah, not a good time I bet. Still better then being on the receiving of that fire.

It's the women who are the problem by demanding thousands of hours of corporate HR seminars and by constantly getting pregnant before deployment. Also, the troons need to go. All they do is sit around, collect bennies, and bitch.

There have been plenty of honorable black service members, like Edward Carter.
True, but having actual hood niggers in is bad. The shaving shit should make a large number of them fuck off.

Well if they cry over a rule about facial hair then that sounds like what would’ve been a bad soldier being sent away, doesn’t it?

This alone is unenforceable, 90% of the military would be gone.
People mass disliked this but there is a kernel of truth.
Studies show at least 20% of the U.S Military is obese.
Its especially a problem in the Navy. 27% of Active Duty Navy are obese according to DoD health reports from 2022-2023.

Roughly 60-70% of the US Military in all branches is "overweight" - but you can say BMI is a dumb metric. Which I'd agree with until you hit obese. Even if you cope and say its all muscle, a guy who's 5'5 will already be slower in speed than his cohorts. Now stack muscle to the point of overcompensating, and he's frankly all show.

If we're talking utility as a soldier - there is such a thing as too much mass.

It expresses desperation from an Executive branch that seems to have lost control of its own military.
It wasnt Gen Milley fucking around, leaking and informing to other states trying to flat tire the admin, it wasn't troons in command, it wasnt even foregoing training standards for women, no, it was this. Okay.

Nah, he wants the big 16 inch guns back lol. Will it happen? Who knows. Would be peak tho
not in the old way. all the spare ammunition and barrel liners were scrapped after the battleships were stricken from the rolls in 2006.

they'll have to build something new. Maybe rail guns, but probably conventional artillery. likely with a deep, deep missile magazine as well. The navy has played with the concept before, but more focused on missile deployment with the arsenal ship concept.

this seems to be what hes talking about really
when hegseth says stuff like "we need to be combat ready"
what im hearing is "too many of you are fucking fatasses"

Dude got shot to shit and still managed to kill 6 Germans and capture two more. Carter was a bad mother fucker.
Not only that, but he spoke German and interrogated his two POWs while wounded.

If anything, the new standards have the potential to turn hoodrats into soldiers. That's how it used to be.

Put them on a crash diet and rebuild them. give them one chance and if they then fail their next fitness test afterwards move for involuntary separation.

Also Trump talked about wanting battleships. Lol.
China has been building ships like the US did during WWII, they really want an iron grip on all nearby shipping and to expand their influence. They harass non-Chinese boats continuously and they want more of that. Remember when the two Chinese boats collided while chasing the Pilipino coast guard, the Chinese had a swarm of like 100 ships show up afterwards as if WWIII was about to start because they rammed their own ship.

So I think we should increase our shipbuilding ability, personally. Whatever type of ships we end up with, I leave to the experts.

Uh, the US used battleships extensively in the Korean war, Vietnam war and the Iraqi wars. to great effect. The Iowa class battleships were only stricken from the navy's rolls in 2006.

The battleships fired over a million pounds of 16 inch shells and 5 inch shells along with dozens and dozens of Tomahawk missiles.
Barges or cargo ships with artillery pieces could have done the same thing since none of those countries had any meaningful navy.
