You know, I’m starting to wonder if white people might be avoiding the professional help they need because the “help” is often from someone they can’t relate to and don’t feel comfortable being vulnerable with, consciously or unconsciously. It might be something we really need to talk about.

I can't tell if you are doing an irony or if you just stumbled into the exact same argument black people used when explaining why they don't seek mental help and instead commit acts of violence. The OVERWHELMING majority of private practitioners are white simply by the fact that you need to be college educated, accredited and the money is so much better.

If you end up in VA Hell or some state run hospital because you are a broke-ass hoe with no insurance, you're going to end up talking to whoever they can hire and keep around. If they end up being any good at that job, they'll immediately leave for a better one where you're not spending your time talking to homeless schizos.
