If "Honor Roll" were smarter, he could have made up that the "Akashic Records" is some pure thought thing which transcends all languages of intelligent life in the universe. But nah, he makes up that the supposed language of what is essentially supposed to be some Great Library of this universe uses humanoid vocal cords. For incoherent babbling.

Of course he's deep into the "spiritual new age bullshit" nonsense. If I had to guess, he's doing it to piss off the spirit of Bob who tried to stop him from believing in new age nonsense but Chris kept doing it so Bob just gave up.

I'm not sure Bob was around when Chris started the New Age stuff; this is without any knowledge if Chris was into New Age stuff that he didn't really talk about in his early days online.

To my knowledge, though I should surely reference the Cwiki, Chris publicly started getting into New Age stuff when he found Bob's old Stone collection (you know like you can get in those chintzy, novelty stores) and decided that they were magic stones and he should become some sort of Oracle.

Starting to wear them as a headdress and a necklace. Using tarot cards and thinking that he is engaged and married to a Magi-Chan (and the others) a psychic Pokemon.

The Stone collection was just something Bob thought was a cute novelty and curiosity gift, probably just giving it to Chris like any parent would give a curious novelty gift to their kids.

Only Chris would think they had super powers. Some people might write a book about that, about a kid getting a seemingly normal gift and it's something super powerful or magical which is fine.

Where Chris crosses the line is when he starts to put rocks in his drinking bottles and tasering quartz crystals (and people) to start the Dimensional Merge, among other things.

Like I said earlier in the thread, "New Age" is a very permissive belief system. The "New Age" worldview also caters to the "magical thinking" mindset that "Honor Roll" has.
