After barging into Saturday movie night and cockblocking @L50LasPak from playing a movie he really was excited to share to play some random Italian horror bullshit on a whim, driving L50 and his contributions which I enjoy away, rest in piss Bruno. Movie night noticably went downhill after that.

This is not what happened. See below for something *slightly* closer to reality.

Sure can, movies were put to vote as always, and what won was a movie called Necromaniac: Schizophreniac 2, after a few minutes of watching the movie some sort of shit happened in the discord group and the movie that won was going to be pulled for something else becuase somebody's sensibilities got perturbed. This resulted in what seemed like 7 minutes of "Harry Russo was born on 6/6/64" on repeat with mod arguments between Las, Bruno, and a few other mods who rarely showed up to movie night about how the night should be ran. This resulted in Las ragequiting movie night and what felt like the quality shifting as well as an emote being created of a crying eagle in remembrance.

The issue was that there is a scene with full frontal nudity of a lady with a bad boob job sudsing herself in the shower. @Marvin bumbled in and thought it was actual porn since he did not bother to read the title and skipped it because there is a no porn rule. Las freaked out, gave himself leader of the night and refused to budge stating this was some sort of coupe against *him* and that the discord was plotting things. At this point a user named Eggplant joined, some guy who was at Movie Night years and years prior that probably just sat around in the Discord still. This guy who only ever showed up once in like the last *decade* started messing with Las and instigating, leading to further screeching from every side. Marvin apologized the day of it happening in the movie night chat and to Laspak on the forum, and the movie played later that night.

The reality is that Laspak was a terminal weirdo similiar to Bruno (but without as many roaches and filth) who was a heavy drinker for much of his tenure at movie night. After he quit drinking (a really good thing) he started developing manic tendencies that borderlined on schizophrenia (a really bad thing) and an extremely short fuse. He accused Marvin and me of being in a "K*ke Cabal" because I had the audacity to say that both sides should apologize and that Marvin already had. At one point in a DM Laspak tried to convince me they were bullying him in the KF movie night DM and plotting against him. When I asked him to show this to me (I was not a mod at the time) he refused, completely dodging and implying I just didn't like him. Once i was modded I scrolled back through the DM out of curiousity: He asked to run something and someone else already had plans and so they asked him to wait a week.

He also just started making the claim the KFMN Discord was full of child porn. I won't begin to pretend to know what goes on there since it ties into my final point.

Stay away from Discord people, bad things will happen on there just like bad things happened in the Movie Night Discord. I wish we knew more about what was going on in this Discord and who this person Bruno was obsessed with was and what they were doing in this Discord.

I cannot speak for any of the other KFMN mods but I have never been in the discord. I have had nothing to do with it, and I don't even know *who* is there. The people involved with it typically never show up or do not make themselves known. Even Bruno himself had not been present for Movie Night more than like 3 or 4 times this year.

Complaints of quality dropping feel so hollow since the users making it never show up to see what's even going on. When Laspak was present he ran TV shows on Saturday, we did like all of Star Trek, and a random theme he made on Sundays. As it stands we currently do grab bag on Saturday and finish up the themed movies from Friday, and on Sundays we typically do The Good, the Bad, and the Zoomie, which is a theme with 1 good, one bad, and one older movie for variety. I've also been resubbing an episode of an anime to play on Sunday. Content has barely changed. I suggest if you haven't been around in a while to stop in and give some of the stuff on the weekends a try. Fridays are the same as they have always been and are certainly more catered towards appealing to people coming in off the banner and always have.

We let people add things, if you don't like what's playing you're more than welcome to bring stuff. We determine themes based on what people vote for on Sundays, so users make the themes and then pick what they want to see. Show up and suggest a theme, and bring some movies. A lot more people are doing it these days and we're getting a ton of great stuff.
