I don't think that's really egotistical to say. It's not wrong. Emma Watson is only rich because of JK Rowling. This is to address her earlier critique. "However, Emma and Dan in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right - nay, obligation - to critique me and my views in public. Years after they finished acting in Potter, they continue to assume the role of de facto spokespeople for the world I created."

Emma Watson is using her role as a Harry Potter star to dictate to the original author what her views should be and what her property should represent. She should show at least a little gratitude because all she did was regurgitate lines written by someone else, and yet Emma gets to be the star. Rowling has made it clear she doesn't care what views any of the actors hold, but she doesn't appreciate these actors using her as a punching bag to gain clout. Because Emma is forever tied to the Harry Potter franchise she feels like Rowling being a TERF negatively reflects on her. She has to attack and ridicule Rowling as penance for being wrongly associated.

Emma Watson is ultimately just a graduate of Harvey Weinstein's dirty casting couch. She hasn't a scintilla of JKR's talent in creating the whole world of Harry Potter.

Letting in any retard, grifter, degenerate and self serving shitbag into the big tent and assigning them power and import enough to start purity spiralling killed the left. Rowling may be useful for now and may even be useful for a while longer but I am just saying to be prepared for her to flip back to team censorship/morality-scold the moment it suits her interests and sensibilities. Same with anyone else who was on team censor-and-screech until they wound up on the purge list by their comrades.

Do the actors go out of their way to talk about her? The first statements were sort of a big response to Rowling being a constant source of controversy from then on and I'm pretty sure they just reply when interviewers ask nowadays.

Tell me, if Rowling had instead dedicated the last 5 years to causing a violent white genocide, what response would you want from the actors? Should they just be quiet when asked and grateful that they got to be movie stars?

Out of all of the cast he's the one who would have benefited the most from using his Harry Potter money to buy a farm or a pub or something cause he's so short.

This is true, and the whole thing makes one wonder just how this post-troon wave will go from here given how even the likes of Watson are trying to backpedal which indicates the celebrity management sphere which dictates the beliefs and statements of their talent and "talent" have turned terminally bearish on the matter enough to allow/push for support of troonery to be rapidly dialled down which is very interesting to ponder as to whether we are gonna see this repeated across the board in celeb land

That was one of the interesting things Rowling said during the Witch Trials podcast, the way Potter fans seemed to think of her as a "mother" and demand endless support and affirmation from her.

You can especially see it when they act utterly betrayed and confused as soon as Rowling reacts negatively to their behavior. In their eyes, they're allowed to throw endless abuse and death threats in her direction, but she (as a mother figure) is obliged to respond with unconditional love as soon as they demand it.

So many of the problems with the west right now are because half of the population has been taught to forgive everyone for everything, no matter how horrific. You have people giving speeches telling everyone to stop being so mean to the person who murdered their child for no reason.

The other half of the population has been told to never let anything go, no matter how minor, and to Six Degrees of Grievance their grudges onto anyone they can manage.

The result is that the first half is just sitting there being savaged, too "principled" to do anything about it, and if the blows ever cease for long enough for them to catch their breath, they use that breath to say "that's fine, keep going; I'll never, ever fight back".

The latter half of society isn't going to stop. It's a core part of their identity, if not the only part. This means that the only way for the former half to keep existing is to play by the same rules, only meaner.
 
If the English language were a game of chess; she is the grandmaster. Emma should just walk away and take it on the chin. There is no response to this other than silence. And acceptance.

"The details emerging" are details that are "emerging" to nobody who has been paying attention; it's just convenient to notice now the news here isn't calling it a far-right lie. Since the 1980s gangs in Telford, Rotherham etc. have operated and these have been an issue of the British "far-right" for two decades now.

You can't use this late and generic statement (rape is bad? gosh I wonder why these specific rapes have happened? probably 'cause of Men) as proof that she's woke to the issue.

Maybe she was speaking about it ten years ago idk but this here is not evidence of anything.
 
As an aside from my grumbling, for any nigger who has not yet been cursed with the experience here is a taste as to how widespread and embarrassing the anti-rowling screech campaign got in its heyday
