As usual he'd say he's a different man than past Phil. Past Phil was an immature teenager and present Phil is a matoor adult.

I love how he keeps increasing the age at which he matured, it went from early 20s to late 30s.

All the while all evidence proves he never matured since highschool. I won't blame Linda and Dave but I think they should have let him see the consequences of his actions rather than shelter his ass. Now it's too late for him to change and with his hermit livestyle it's only getting worse.

That one broke earlier this year which is how he ended up with the Chinese Amazon replacement. He had to find one that would be delivered next day with free shipping on a Sunday.

It “broke” before his day off so a normal non hermit could have gone to any number of stores to get a new one but not Phil, Mr Amazon himself.

Also, “taking out the AC” is just removing the house from the window. He leaves it sitting in his office studio just cluttering up the room.

He acts like he has a 100 year old house that can’t get central air installed. Even so, there are plenty of work arounds. Again if he wasn’t an unlikable hermit, he could ask one of his neighbors who surely have looked into this to see what it cost.

Not to mention, if he doesn’t do some of the dented things fitting his move like ship a car and new furniture cross country, he could have had money for home shit like this. But I’m sure that’s the trolls fault or something.
 
Not to defend Phil, as he is terrible at games regardless, but if he is using bluetooth it's entirely possible the controller is dropping his inputs. Bluetooth stinks on those Xbox controllers, you need to use 2.4ghz instead. Also he probably hasn't even updated the controller despite there being latency updates for it.

Those Elite 2 controllers are overpriced garbage and it makes me laugh that he HAD to buy the most expensive controller despite the bad reception surrounding them.

I think in one of his recent streams he said something regarding opening a window. Now the weather is "finally cooling down" he can open a window. So yeah, that "office" must be an amazing collage of odors.

Oh that elite 2 controller has some fun lore to it too, he bought it last year after playing CoD zombies with the Kino guys. In the middle of the game he asks them what controller they're using and Andy answers "an elite 2 xbox controller".

A few streams later guess who got "donated" "by a fan" an elite 2 controller ?

EDIT: I self felted myself he had only one elite 2 controller, I thought he got two different ones but apparently no

I don’t believe it. Phil bitched about his ping being too high to play COD; it was usually 18-20. Phil just suck at games and will find anything to blame besides himself.
 
Imagine giving Phil the benefit of the doubt. He's shit at video games, or at the very least does his best to be miserable playing them and lies about damn near everything.

I'd trust the shittiest off brand Chinese amazon controller over his word.

He's not just bad, he has some of the worst hand-eye coordination I had ever seen. It's the same problem he has for decades where he fails to jump or aim properly and thought it was lag. There is a reason why he uses a gaming PC instead of a PS5 these days under the pretense of PS5 Street Fighter gameplay being "laggy". It goes way beyond just being a bad gamer in-general that he is a sociopath that is also mentally handicapped, delusional and has actual trouble with precision.

His Hollow Knight Silksong walkthough (which I just watched through Memology) has a lot of these issues where he thinks that he's hitting something but can't aim properly or accidentally hitting into spikes because the distance he jumped from was off. It's the same issue as his recent COD playthroughs.

Latency is another constant, be it wireless controllers or online play, but I'll never accept the latency excuse for his bad gameplay unless he sets up a real NES on a real CRT and plays Megaman to prove it

There's no question that Phil's a massive liar but it wouldn't surprise me if he has a genuinely bad memory. It'd make sense, since "cognition" and "Phil" don't go together in the same sentence.
