I think some sort of civil conflict is basically inevitable in the coming decade. Half the country is openly advocating to kill the other half and that's not something you can just dial back.

I personally believe it will be something more akin to the Irish Troubles than a proper Civil War sequel but something is gonna break.
 
You know, I've been monitoring protests and pontificating on Hasan and their support for terrorists. The Left is opening the door for far worse things now that they are considered a domestic terrorist group. The only other religion I can think of that despises Americans, specifically Christians, are Muslims; the religion of peace. You know who is very good at domestic terrorists, Islamists. The amount of rhetoric in support for middle eastern terrorist organizations has me going :thinking:. Not to mention the Minnesota Arterial spurting going on not to mention the rust belt, didn't one of those cities up East go Sharia. Say no to Sharia law in an AMERICAN state. Edit: Oh look, another shooting and church burning in Michigan.

I keep hearing this and don't doubt that it will eventually come to that, but I also think they'll be able to boil the frog forever or at least a lot longer than anyone thinks. Average American lives very comfortably and is very distracted, and will be able to afford those distractions. I worked part time at a grocery store during the pandemic and was making 26/hour. Most people kept that rate after the pandemic went down and most of us were mid 20's or just past 30. Really easy to stir up resentment but they just wanted to get high and play video games. When the Boomers are gone I think we'll see the really crazy swings but its going to be mostly fine until then.

The shooter is dead (confirmed killed by law enforcement). Multiple victims (10 gunshot victims, 1 currently deceased as of 1 PM police press conference) Firefighters are still working to contain the fire.

Edit: Police are moving the emergency staging area as they believe there may be a bomb in the suspect's truck. AgendaFree TV is mentioning reports that the attacker first drove the truck into the building prior to the shooting. Truck reportedly had two American flags on the back.

Edit: Police press conference is starting. 40 year old male suspect from Burton, MI. 2 police officers responding to the incident shot and killed the perpetrator. 10 gunshot victims, 2 in critical condition, 1 currently deceased. Additional victims are expected to be discovered once fire is contained. Follow up police conference at 5 PM.

Edit: First responders are being pulled back from the church area due to a beeping sound coming from the shooter's truck. Fire crews are being taken out of the building while bomb squads conduct searches for IEDs.

There won't be a civil war like the one Lincoln was caught in, the home team is too efficient and industrialized. What you're seeing today is much closer to what was happening in the USA in the 1970s.

There's also a pretty high chance that this is political theater (don't forget Antifa used to get bussed in and given soft-support by intelligence agencies) so that the public applauds whatever draconian measures the government wants to implement as smoothly as they can.

I am fairly convinced at this point that 90% of the traffic reddit is just brigaders and bots who are still trying to push the old narrative not realizing they're the only ones reading it.
-I haven't used reddit outside of laughs in 5 years
-None of my formerly reddit obsessed friends use it anymore
-Literally none of the zoomers in my college town know it exists and i've talked to dozens of them. (side note: young Zoomers are more based than i thought possible and i'm in a firmly left wing college town)
-My radical leftist acquaintances think it's right wing so they don't use it.
-People who used to want quick answers just ask chat GPT now.

I really think that in the same way classic forums were replaced by web 2.0 style centralized sites (like reddit) web 2.0 is currently being replaced by AI. And i know this is pretty unpopular here but i'm not so sure if that's a bad thing.

Chat GPT won't go full TND or anything but it will answer hard questions, and if you lay out "this is my issue with antifa/blm/wokism" it will tell you "yes your concerns are logical and valid, and here's why". It usually wraps it up with some gay shit about the importance of dialogue and all but it won't call you a nazi or tell you nobody will ever love you. I've even gotten it to acknowledge things about replacement theory being true and people having a right to be concerned about demographic shifts. It's telling the other side they're valid as well, yes, but that doesn't matter. The other side has already been getting told they're valid and wholesome for 20 years, they're maxed out. their main demoralization tactic has been tacking over all of culture so every anti-clownworlder feels alone and isolated. They really can't do that with Ai.

None of this AI shit is perfect but it's far better than everything it's replacing, ie: reddit, wiki, facebook, hollywood porn, shidya games, and so on.

I don't know that we'll go full Spanish civil war, but it seems pretty apparent there's inevitably going to be conflicts and there's no chance of it getting turned down. Democratic leadership knowingly pours gasoline on the fire repeatedly like it did during the race riots.
