It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Thirsty Sinkhole Downs An Entire Truck Of Mexican Soda

Source: Carscoops Archive: Ghost

  • A massive sinkhole opened in Mexico City, swallowing a truck carrying Jarritos soda.
  • Local authorities spent over 20 hours pulling the truck from the massive sinkhole.
  • A collapsed concrete water collector likely caused the sinkhole’s formation and expansion.

Sinkholes can wreak havoc on motorists and neighborhoods, oftentimes swallowing vehicles whole and causing extraordinary amounts of damage. Over the weekend, Mexico City experienced just that when a massive cavity opened beneath a delivery truck loaded with Jarritos soda, leaving the vehicle at the mercy of the ground below.

Initially, the sinkhole opened up beneath the large truck and left it balancing precariously, half on the road and half within the hole. Local authorities quickly responded and cordoned off the area. Fortunately, they did that because soon after, the sinkhole opened up further and the truck fell into it, landing on its rear end and leaving only its front end poking out.

A Rescue Measured in Tonnes

According to Mexico News Daily, it took more than 20 hours to recover the stranded truck. The effort required serious hardware: a 40-tonne crane, a 20-tonne crane, and a backhoe, all working in sequence to lift the battered vehicle out of its muddy pit.

An investigation by local authorities revealed that a 2.44-meter concrete water collector under the road had collapsed, likely contributing to the formation of the sinkhole. It then rapidly expanded after heavy overnight rain, forcing at least eight families living nearby to be temporarily relocated.

For as bad as this sinkhole was, it’s far from the worst we’ve seen. Back in 2016, a massive sinkhole opened up in the Japanese city of Fukuoka, spreading to 27 meters wide and 30 meters long, swallowing a large intersection. In early 2014, a huge sinkhole appeared beneath a section of the Corvette Museum in the United States, severely damaging several important Corvettes.

Serial Underwear Bandit Convicted
On Sept. 12, 2025, Superior Court Judge Larry Woolford sentenced 22-year-old Lucas Suryan to a total sentence of 15 years of incarceration, with 11 years suspended and 6 years to serve.

Suryan pleaded guilty on April 18, 2025 to two counts of Burglary in the First Degree, one count of Attempted Burglary in the First Degree, and one count of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. As part of the sentence handed down, Suryan will be on formal probation for five years with probation conditions, to include undergoing sex offender treatment. He will have to register as a sexual offender for 15 years after his unconditional discharge from probation.

The conduct for which Suryan pled guilty began in 2023 when he burglarized two homes. In one home, he stole a teen girl’s underwear. Suryan then posted photographs of the underwear on a website and unidentified persons, possibly Suryan himself, used the photographs to harass the teen girl. Suryan, who was on conditions of release which included electronic monitoring at the time, was confirmed to have been inside the residence.

In a separate burglary of another home, Suryan broke into the house while none of the residents were home. When the owner of the home returned, he caught Suryan in the house coming out of his teenage daughter’s bedroom. At the home of a third teenage girl, Suryan was caught on camera climbing a ladder in an attempt to enter the home through an upstairs deck door, but he could not gain access. During the service of search warrants on Suryan’s bedroom connected to these burglaries, the stolen underwear was located along with other female underwear, labeled with the name of the female it apparently belonged to.

During the investigation, the Anchorage Police Department received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that contained a tip that a particular Google Account contained suspected child sexual abuse material. The tip was passed onto Juneau Police Department, which investigated the tip and determined that the account associated with the Cybertip was connected to Suryan. A search warrant was served on a number of Suryan’s seized electronic devices and yielded multiple illegal materials that depicted sexual abuse material involving minors. Suryan admitted to downloading and possessing those images.

It's not like there aren't 500 examples of their police overreach and censorship, though.
And in every "censorship" and "police overreach" and "person arrested for tweet" if you wait a day for the community note there always seems to be more to the story. Or a completely different story altogether.

Tommy Robinson: "Look! this nigger has kidnapped children!"

What actually happened: Grandad playing with his own grandchildren

Niggers aren't my favourite people either but you can't lynch them for playing with their grandkids.

Well, it depends. If it's 'Tommy Robinson' involved it's always going to be him shitjacketing real nationalists with his bullshit.

Britain does, indeed, prosecute actual nationalists for speech alone- like when they went after Mark Collett and Nick Griffin for criticizing Pakistanis (unfortunately, in a PC anti-Islam way rather than correctly identifying the race problem):
But 'Tommy' (not even his real name) just makes up complete bullshit, like the claims that a nigger kid stabbing schoolgirls was a Muslim, that detract from healthy racism, while being repeatedly proven to be a liar, something that the jew media in the UK uses to smear real nationalists.

I don't find this an accurate representation of the actual two-tiered policing and censorship of actual Brits or Tommy Robinson's behavior.

A ‘very mean squirrel’ is going nuts in this California town. Two victims sent to the ER

A neighborhood bully can come in all shapes and sizes. In one Bay Area town, it comes with fur.

An aggressive neighborhood squirrel has locals nervous after it attacked several residents, prompting visits to the emergency room for bites and scratches to their arms and legs, according to a local humane society and a resident.

The attacks in the Lucas Valley neighborhood of San Rafael were confirmed by Lisa Bloch, the director of marketing and communications at Marin Humane. She said she knows of at least two people who went to the ER to be treated for squirrel-inflicted lacerations, out of an abundance of caution.

One of those squirrel victims was Joan Heblack, 80, who has lived in her Lucas Valley home for about 11 years and has never had problems with squirrels until she recently took a morning walk. In a phone interview, she said she was on Mt. Diablo Circle when she suddenly felt something heavy on her leg, when she looked down she saw it — a squirrel.

Startled, she began screaming, “Get off, get off,” and tried shaking her legs, eventually batting the squirrel off, she said.

“He kind of turn his head to look at me and I thought: ‘Oh no, he’s going to run up to my face,’” she said.

She said the squirrel eventually jumped off her leg and ran into the backyard of a nearby home.

Heblack said she would later learn she was not the only one to have been attacked by the squirrel. She said at least two neighbors had been squirrel attack victims. She also learned that the squirrel had also attacked a young girl and her aunt while they toured an open house on the same street. She said the woman needed stitches.

The realtor who witnessed the attack placed a flier warning residents in the area about the squirrel, Heblack said. The flier posted in the neighborhood includes a photo of a squirrel leaping in midair and the words “attack squirrel beware.”

“This is not a joke, more than five people have been attacked by a very mean squirrel over past several days on Diablo Circle and Mount Lassen,” the flier read. “This squirrel comes out of nowhere and will attack legs, arms, and faces an leave bite marks and scratches.”

Despite the attack, Heblack pressed on with her walk. For now, she said, she’s staying away from squirrels, and Mt. Diablo Court.

Squirrels carry some diseases that can be transmitted to humans, including Lyme disease and tularemia, which causes flu-like symptoms and skin ulcers. Bloch said squirrels are not known to carry rabies. In California, skunks, raccoon and bats are more likely to carry the disease, which attacks the brain and spinal cord.

Bloch said it’s rare for squirrels to attack people and the most likely reason has to do with humans hand feeding or hand raising squirrels.

“People who love wildlife will have this notion that they can raise wildlife themselves or hand feed them, and of course that’s really inadvisable because it puts the animal at risk and it puts people at risk,” she said. “This is probably what happened in this case, so it’s a really good reminder why you should never feed wildlife.”

When animals are hand fed, they lose their natural instinct to stay clear of humans, Bloch said. They might approach people expecting to be fed, and when there’s no food they can become aggressive.

She said there was an incident in Stinson Beach where someone hand fed a coyote from a car, soon after, that same coyote was going up to people in cars expecting to be fed.

“I certainly recognize people have good intentions and they might think they’re helping, but they’re not and in fact, they could be hurting certain animals.”

Italian Musetti accused of ‘damn Chinese’ remark during outburst at China Open fans

Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti apologised on Saturday for an on-court outburst at people coughing in the crowd at the China Open.

The 23-year-old was visibly frustrated at one moment of his three-set win over Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard on Friday in Beijing.

The fourth seed mimicked a person clearing their throat and said in Italian: “They cough every three seconds.”

Local media, including state-owned The Paper, accused him of also mouthing “damn Chinese”.

“My words were directed only at a few individuals in the crowd who were coughing repeatedly and disturbing the play,” Musetti wrote on Instagram on Saturday. “They were never, in any way, meant for the Chinese people.

“It happened in a moment of stress and tension in the second tiebreak, but still, this is no excuse at all.

What a pussified wop. McEnroe would have just broken his racket over someone's head if they'd bitched about his sotto voce remarks.

Rosie O'Donnell's TDS has gotten to a point where even her therapist is asking why she's so mad

I love that these Hollywood types have therapists and always talk about the encounters they have with them.

And it's just the best when they talk to their therapists about TDS.

(Feel free to jump ahead to just before the halfway point in the vid).
My therapist said 'Why are you so upset?' and I said to her, 'Why are you not?'

Who's counseling who here, Rosie?

Maybe you have a second calling in therapy!!!

Big shout-out to all the therapists out there dealing with the Trump deranged. Not that you're doing any service to them, but boy I bet you've been raking in the dough over the past decade!

NTB sucks but they find lots of mini stories like this.
