EDIT 09-26-25:
DHS has corrected their statement. Only one of the victims is, at this time, dead. The other two still remain in critical condition.

Three people were injured at an ICE facility in Dallas as cops launched an urgent manhunt for a suspected sniper.

The situation unfolded at the Texas facility around 7am on Wednesday morning, with police sources telling WFAA that they are also investigating the possibility of multiple shooters.

Shortly after multiple people were wounded in the shooting, a suspected gunman was found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney's office.

Images showed a large police presence descended on the scene.

The ICE facility has been frequently targeted by pro-immigration demonstrators in recent months.

This is a developing story and will be updated as information is confirmed.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR AS OF 3:30PM EST of 09-24-25:
  • Shooter is confirmed to be 29 year old Joshua Jahn. This picture is a mugshot from a 2015 arrest for mairjuana possession in Collin county Texas.

  • Around 6:30 AM, Dallas time, Jahn climbed to the roof of a building opposite of the parking lot side of an ICE detention facility.
  • Around 6:40 AM, using an older style rifle that takes stripper clips, Jahn begins shooting indiscriminately into the building and possibly transport vans. Number of shots is rumored to be around 20 but has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.
  • Jahn manages to strike 3 victims with his blind firing. All three are ICE detainees, meaning they are illegals getting ready to be sent back to where ever they came from.
  • Shortly after, it's unknown exactly how long, Jahn is approached by ICE agents and shoots himself in the head. There are photos of a dead man on a roof with a partially exploded head that is rumored to be him but has not been officiated yet. It's not known at this time if Jahn was in the same building he took the shots from when he killed himself or if he made it to another building.
  • 2 of his victims are pronounced dead. 1 is still listed in critical condition. All of this is reporting from the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Kash Patel tweets out a picture of a found and unused stripper clip with ammo used by the shooter. One of the casings has written on it in Sharpie or some kind of marker "ANTI-ICE". There are no other markings or messages that we have been told so far.

Only if you're buying from a licensed FFL dealer setting up a table for his business. Private individuals can also set up tables and sell, cash only, no record. A lot of individual collectors do this to clear out their collection, or swap with other collectors. The guys walking around outside with rifles slung from backpacks are all private sellers, no FFL or records.

Depending on state law they may be required to ask for ID or a CC permit, but they aren't required to record it. (And if you talk to the right guys the right way, the local dealers may do that for you even from their corporate booth.)

The rot runs deep, and it's gonna take more than two weeks to dismantle. The DOJ needs to do paperwork, obtain warrants, serve subpoenas, make sure all the bases are covered before prosecutions can start.

I know we all want this commit shit off our streets NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW, but that's not how it works. Other than a second failed impeachment vote, it took them over a year to make a move against Trump after J6.

I said it earlier ITT: if you are a prosecutor, you cannot give Antifa or their lawyers an out. This is serious business that requires doing lots of homework.

Good luck finding a modern gun show with private sellers. All of the gun shows around me charge obscene prices for a table, only FFLs can afford to pay, it’s not worth it for a private sellers. I’ve heard similar stories in other areas.
