DHS has corrected their statement. Only one of the victims is, at this time, dead. The other two still remain in critical condition.

Three people were injured at an ICE facility in Dallas as cops launched an urgent manhunt for a suspected sniper.

The situation unfolded at the Texas facility around 7am on Wednesday morning, with police sources telling WFAA that they are also investigating the possibility of multiple shooters.

Shortly after multiple people were wounded in the shooting, a suspected gunman was found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney's office.

Images showed a large police presence descended on the scene.

The ICE facility has been frequently targeted by pro-immigration demonstrators in recent months.

This is a developing story and will be updated as information is confirmed.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR AS OF 3:30PM EST of 09-24-25:
  • Shooter is confirmed to be 29 year old Joshua Jahn. This picture is a mugshot from a 2015 arrest for mairjuana possession in Collin county Texas.

  • Around 6:30 AM, Dallas time, Jahn climbed to the roof of a building opposite of the parking lot side of an ICE detention facility.
  • Around 6:40 AM, using an older style rifle that takes stripper clips, Jahn begins shooting indiscriminately into the building and possibly transport vans. Number of shots is rumored to be around 20 but has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.
  • Jahn manages to strike 3 victims with his blind firing. All three are ICE detainees, meaning they are illegals getting ready to be sent back to where ever they came from.
  • Shortly after, it's unknown exactly how long, Jahn is approached by ICE agents and shoots himself in the head. There are photos of a dead man on a roof with a partially exploded head that is rumored to be him but has not been officiated yet. It's not known at this time if Jahn was in the same building he took the shots from when he killed himself or if he made it to another building.
  • 2 of his victims are pronounced dead. 1 is still listed in critical condition. All of this is reporting from the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Kash Patel tweets out a picture of a found and unused stripper clip with ammo used by the shooter. One of the casings has written on it in Sharpie or some kind of marker "ANTI-ICE". There are no other markings or messages that we have been told so far.

Local ABC affiliate WFAA doesn't know why detainees were shot if he was targeting ICE agents & then speculate that the bullets were left over from the Anti-ICE protests from a week ago.:story:

The problem is that they have lived in an echo chamber for so long that they cannot fathom that normal people disagree with them. Think about it. From 2015(when Trump started his first successful campaign) to around 2020, all they heard was some degree of "orange man bad" and not "here is WHY Trump is bad (said in a non histerical manner) ", the media, both legacy and social, supported this stupid one-dimensional view, then Biden wins, they think they "won" but then Trump wins solidly come next election (because of a host of reasons, a main one being that Biden's policies just weren't that great (I mean he did listen to the party establishment all the fucking time), and the cost of living for many kept increasing). And these lefties can't handle it. They cannot understand why people are sick of the left's bullshit. They are so indoctrinated that they can't be reasoned with. They think if you disagree with their bullshit Twitter DSA commie nonsense, then you aren't a democrat and you hate everyone/are a nazi/Trump dick sucker. It's an actual delusion. They think they are "liberating the free people" like they're fucking partisans during WW2.

I remember talking to one person after Kirk died, and I asked them bluntly, "Who is the left's version of Kirk?" and they unironically said destiny. And when I asked them about illegals (who btw their parents were LEGAL Immigrants to the USA who hate illegals), could not understand that "All illegals broke the law regardless of if you think it's fair or not" these people cannot understand that coming to this country not through the proper methods and or staying here longer than is allowed, is a crime, and that a mistaninor, a felonly, are all crimes. I am not a trump diehard. I agree with him on some things and disagree with him on others. I balanced the scales with my own beliefs and values and voted based on that. But the moment I say shit that even SLIGHTLY supports something Trump said or did, I get "oh so you support fascism" or "Guess you want all women dead" or some fucking crazy nonsense. Like no, I just said that "Trump's not wrong about X, we do have a problem with X, I just don't agree/like how he's going about it, I think that [Insert not crazy dem who doesn't have an insane take on x here] thinks how we should deal with X is more realistic/correct".
