Cringe leftists/Marxists keep doing this shit because they don't understand that people live in reality which is distinct and objective, completely separate from the constructed reality/delusion they share. They have no theory of mind, and reflexively think that they can just use the Nazi-cudgel to trigger some kind of reaction. We see this all the time, where they try to construct an 'evil' character or make something to mock their enemies and it completely backfires. A good example would be Ubisoft trying to make fun of religion with the FarCry soundtrack, only for songs like 'Keep your Rifle by Your Side' to become a de facto anthem of the Right.
This particular instance is a double backfire. First, it forces people to engage with Miller's speech (the parts that are original or not) and think about the concepts in them that apply to normies. A normal person, hearing an impassioned speech like this one, would agree with a lot of the rhetoric and verbiage, its a very classic "our friend was murdered but we will not be intimidated" mixed with some Boomer patriotism "we build this nation, we are strong, we will endure" type stuff mixed in. Drawing attention to the speech is just going to have the non-inducted normies nodding along with it, and increase support for Miller.
Then when they try the rug-pull of 'AH-HA, we spliced in Goebbels! See he's a Nazi!' it'll only make the normie say two things. First, they'll have to ask why they spliced this speech together, if Miller was so bad why not just show us the original, wouldn't that be sufficient if it was truly evil? It undermines the credibility of any legitimate critique they may have. Secondly, they then have to ask if that was a real Goebbels speech, is that what the Nazis really said, and why hadn't they ever heard this before? Which opens up more questions about the reality of the German positions versus the propaganda.
The combination works to damage both the historical revisionism they've built up over decades of educational and media control, while simultaneously pushing normies closer to Trump and his movement. Its the old canard, if you keep telling everyone that safe streets, healthy kids, and positive good vibes are fascist eventually they'll believe you and put on a black uniform. Its a total own goal, unforced error, but they can't stop themselves, they literally can't conceptualize second order effects.
