The small amount of self defense I learned, the teacher was pretty open about how you're not going to be Billy Badass with this training, and a lot of weapon attacks are going to be surprise attacks, this is just what you can do if you have the luxury of seeing it coming. Knives especially, if you're getting stabbed, you'll never see it coming.

Honestly every time Pat opens his fat pig mouth about fighting I'm reminded of one line from Letterkenny: "Maybe if you've ever been in a real fight, you might not be so keen on starting one."

Back in my bartending days I saw 25 year olds who looked to be in their late thirties and men in their late thirties who appeared to be 58.

I think what makes interactions with Fatrick palatable is a) despite his claims lies to the contrary, he does nothing to actually dissuade the pests from contacting him, and is very clearly gleeful when they do; it’s obvious social media is his only real interaction with people and without the pests even that landscape would be barren, and b) the rather harmless acts of “talking about Fatrick in public venues where he is free to respond as he wishes” is numerous enough to dilute the actually harmful (if humorous as a non-interactive observer) acts like “putting his cancer chairs up for charity.”
