MTE. I disregarded the Markyposting for the longest time. I'm not totally a fan of Lidl's rewrite (It glosses over a lot of the industry drama and fallout, it's missing key beats like the Ted Talk and trolling leftists at standup shows, it mischaracterizes the Matan appearance, etc.) but she did do a stellar job of laying out the case for Marky.

I've always been annoyed with Sam off and on in between busting a gut when he deigns to actually be fucking funny, but it's really starting to come into focus what a sad, fat, ugly manchild he is at the end of the day when he turns off the cameras.

The real reason this is being met with crickets by a lot of those who weren't already onboard doesn't even have anything to do with Hyde himself, his manic depressive political brainfarts, or his comedy which has been stagnant at best for close to a decade. It's just that some of us remember growing up around many examples (Christmas, Halloween, and even April Fool's Day) of these exact kinds of girls and the idea that they should be seen as innocent little victims rings hollow and retarded if you aren't already fat (maybe "have never been a normal weight" even) crusty, vindictive for unrelated reasons, and looking to get on a high horse about the banal sexual degeneracy of someone who probably reminds you of your own deadbeat dad/an ex you can't get over.

Too much to say but in short, not a single good gag or sketch. I'd give it a 1/5 rating. If it wasn't an MDE project I wouldn't have watched anything past the first few minutes of ep1.
All the hype pre-release was non-existent after the first episode dropped. Sam is now pivoting away from comedy entirely and fully embracing the right wing grift.

By all material measures it is successful though. Made enough cash for their investor to want to fund another Season.

I didn't care for it very much, but its more like 3/5 than a 1. Very little hit for me and I really like WP.
