I'm going to assume that this isn't to disrupt the thread and give you a good faith response, maybe I'm wrong for doing that, but still.
Have you not been paying attention for the past 10 years? People have been deplatformed, debanked, fired, unpersoned, harassed, and more for any number of things, from saying they support Trump, saying that women sports should be for women, using the wrong pronouns, not thinking that the death of a junkie was a national tragedy because the media managed to spin a narrative around his death, not supporting "fiery but mostly peaceful" riots, not wanting o take an experimental vaccine, or simply wanting to have a gossip website where you can post freely within the limits of what is allowed by the law.

Quite simply, if you don't accommodate whatever reality or delusions the left has decided to land on any given day, you can have your life ruined completely.
That is very different from saying "hey, these people are not only celebrating political violence, but given the fact that Charlie Kirk was pretty mild when it comes to conservative views, cheering on his assassination means they would gladly see a lot of us dead for our opinions as well".
If you cannot see why that is different, then you're either willingly being obtuse, or there is just no point in talking about it.

Either way, the whole "guys these people might do something worse if they get in power" is moot. They are in power in so many places it's ridiculous. Just because Trump is president doesn't change the fact that they control media, tech companies, education, many government agencies that have been taken over from the inside, etc.
The fact that so many people still believe the lie that the shooter was "MAGA" should tell you what you need to know.
The pushback isn't working because Trump is president, the pushback is working because it's about human decency, about basic good vs evil. So no, rolling over and letting these people get away with calling for more violence isn't going to help anyone, and it certainly isn't going to change anything if/when they regain power, because to them we are all Nazis that deserve to be shot, so allowing them to get away with it now only means that you're giving them a chance to continue doing damage to you and yours from whatever position of power they currently have (teachers, doctors, nurses, army, etc.).

Oh and if you meant about Kimmel being taken off air, again where the fuck have you been for the past ten years? Tucker Carlsson was fired not suspended for asking questions about the 2020 election, Alex Jones had his life completely destroyed (as retarded as he was the punishment did not fit the crime), Julian Assange also had his life destroyed and was more or less imprisoned, spied upon and fucked with for the Clinton emails (which only were a very small window into how rotten that entire camp was/is), don't act like this hasn't happened before.

Either way, whether "the right" takes action now or not, they've already weaponized everything they could, words are equal to violence, so what you say justifies you getting shot, opinions on troons are equal to a "genocide", which again, justifies them killing you. The list goes on and on. Whatever is done now, if these people manage to seize absolute power, they are going to go full retard. They did it after Trump's first presidency (even though he didn't even really do anything he had promised his base), they weaponized the FBI, the justice system, etc.
So no, whatever happens now, they will still be 100x times worse whether people now decide to turn the other cheek or fight fire with fire.

Honestly I’m a bit concerned. Like she just lost her husband and now she’s being tasked with filling his shoes. I fear TPUSA’s relevance and power, which while imperfect still a net positive, might’ve died with Charlie. At least it’s not Ben though so that’s a plus.

Pundits with terminal cases of Internet Poisoning don't actually have any values besides "say whatever scores me the most social capital right now". If this results in a political philosophy that is inconsistent, contradictory, hypocritical, or betrays one's allies, that's a feature, not a bug. This is because they don't see themselves as journalists or politicians, they want to be social media influencers.

I desperately want to see itemized individual events and why they're categorized the way they are. I do not believe the statistic that all 61 political killings from 2022-2024 were committed by right-wing extremists. I don't even believe there were 61 political killings in those three years.
