Tell you what. I'll think about maybe worrying about a guy getting booted from network TV, a guy who is perfectly free to go on some streaming service, as he likely will. Probably join up like Lib Voltron with Colbert, even.

I'll think about worrying about this guy getting blowback for straight up lying on network fuckin' TV, the moment Cloudflare lets us back on. And if Josh can keep participating in the financial system.

jesus christ, everytime ive seen that clip it makes me want to kill myself. hopefully the major networks drop their late shows, they're all cancer, they havent been good since leno or letterman left their shows. and as for the late shows on abc, theyve always sucked.

My point was the Federalists' argument that even having a Bill of Rights would be an implicit signal that those are the only rights we have. That's why they were against it. And their fears have become reality.
 
So much crazy good shit has happened since CKs unfortunate demise, I'm torn between two feelings:
#1 I feel like that part in starship troopers where we have our hand on the foreheads of libtards and we turn to our army and happily say "it's afraid!"
#2 I'm nervous as hell because I realize they are afraid, and everybody knows that a scared animal is a dangerous animal.

I know you mean well but this will only make things worse. Her father is not open to new information or perspectives. He will double and triple down. @SpergQween I would suggest (if you feel comfortable) telling your father that you would like to work on your father/daughter connection and leave politics outside of that. If he cannot grasp why his own fucking child matters more than politics — and chances are good that he can’t — then nothing you do will help. You are not obligated to torture yourself in perpetuity while he pouts. If you give this a try, no matter what happens, your side of the street will be clean. That is literally all you can control.

You don’t make them sane; they just make you crazy.

NB You might also find Al-Anon official literature helpful, it’s all over the web and is not just for loved ones of alkies. The bottom line is you will make yourself crazy trying to fix him. You can only control you.

What other tactics should be used against the far-left? Letting them keep their jobs and ratchet tension has lead to this.

I hate life-ruination. I hate people being fired for what they have to say, outside working hours. Jimmy of course said what he did during working hours so it is different. But I don't know what else should be done to contain these freaks.

What do you think designating a terrorist organization does? It is explicitly a tool to go after their funding and accounts.
