This reminds me of something I tried explaining to someone recently. They don't think TWAW- if they see a tranny in a dress they'll acknowledge "that's a man"- but they have a libertarian-esque "if they aren't harming anyone, lpeople should be able to do what they want" viewpoint. I didn''t know where to begin distilling all of the esoteric knowedge kon the myriad ways trannies harm people, children (I did share how it personally affects me as a woman, which he appreciated), but at on epoint, it struck me-- the marketplace of ideas is great and all, but at some point if a group is trying to convince the world of a lie, that in itself is harmful.

This is actually not correct, they do use automated moderation tools (likely AI) for a number of things. They clearly have the capability to flag certain speech, even in "private" servers, and people have been banned for it. The other prime issue with Discord is that it is not searchable except for the Discord administration, which disproportionately protects bad actors.

Some of you just blurt out shit about the law like you suffer from tourette's. You DO NOT get an attorney at your initial appearance unless you hire one. At your initial appearance if you cannot afford an attorney you will be given the paperwork from the judge to file for a public defender. Your first arraignment is merely the formality of you being charged, and in most states they will not even ACCEPT a guilty plea at that point in the process, and automatically assign you a not guilty plea on your behalf.
HOW IN THE FUCK CAN YOU ARGUE THAT YOU NEED A PUBLIC DEFENDER BEFORE YOU HAVE SEEN A JUDGE?
I swear to God some of you have never been through the legal system or know people that work in it and it shows. This isn't an episode of SVU, the county doesn't just throw overworked underpaid public defenders at every person who asks for one, you have to formally file for public counsel after your first arraignment. And if you don't, the judge can even appoint it for you if deemed necessary in your defense. But you actually have to SEE the judge first so that determination can be made.

Yep, it rounds up all the data to the top for AI or manual search. Everything. Hell this site does it. Who are these people that think there's any private transactions on other servers? Even if it's E2EE it's probably backdoored by NSA. Good God people are naive.

ETA: The only steps involved are how much the ooperator wants to deal with the feds. And if the feds end up wanting it, its what now? 90 days min?

We need to go back to an internet that was decentralized and not controlled by a few major social media sites where forums could manage 500-10,000 people and not a billion of them.

I also didn't vote for a very long time, just seemed like "What's the point? No matter who wins, we're screwed. Same shit different day." But I also worked at a place in a blue county that hosted polling, and every year (especially since the Obama years) all the black women get really excited to vote, as if it isn't just a constitutional right, but also fun in a rebellious way. They still have the fire in their hearts to "stick it to the man" in a way that I think the rest of the middle class lost. Many of them also like to work the polling stations (as many of us saw in 2020 polling location footage) because, again, it's kind of rebellious for them. And I'm not mad at them, I just wish more demographics would be so into it. And I think that was deliberately done, to make some groups of people think they're "too cool to vote" or something.

The way that they prey on girls and their emotions with this shit is evil. They start them young and use the female trait of agreeability against them before they have a chance to actually learn anything about the real world. Single mothers often raise daughters to hate men and have horrible judgment (just like themselves) so when someone does try to show them when they're wrong, they can only deflect, accuse of misogyny or start crying or screaming when faced with any sort of reality.
Before I get accused of misogyny myself, I'm a woman in my late 30s. I've seen many women act so retarded they make it embarrassing to be associated with them in any way. But I've also seen that all the good ones end up here eventually, the ones who can see and think for themselves.
And goddamnit am I happy that I didn't vote in my youth because I literally knew so little, and the way the media lies about everything, I would have picked a candidate based on 2% of information, and these "women" go on even less information and act like YOU'RE THE STUPID ONE! AND THEY ALL VOTE! They can't tell you what a "woman" even is, and they all vote.

So anyway, yeah I'm your 80s-90s kid, 2000s teen and 2010s adult who thought voting was for old people and busy body dorks. This last election got me out, even though Trump had no hope in winning my state or county. I wanted him to get the popular vote so we didn't have to hear about the electoral college being evil (funny how it's not even brought up anymore. I thought it was the end of our democracy lol) and enough people thought the same thing to give him a landslide victory.

I know Dear Leader has been very pessimistic about voting, as was I. But when I tell you the dumbest, most emotionally driven retards are all getting out there to vote, you have to at least vote against them.

Then you can make a fun little "I Voted" sticker design and share it on the Farms! We can Have our own little contest like that one where the Werewolf submission won.

Malcolm X also believed that black men should not abandon their children. This disagreement was part of why Elijah Muhammad wanted him gone.

what? it is fully searchable, search is built directly into the client. you can search through the entire chat history of any channel you have access to.

I fully expect Steam to get absorbed by some giant entity once Gabe dies, possibly earlier if it keeps facing all these issues. You may live to see your Steam account suddenly locked behind a subscription model because Microsoft said so.
