Didn't see this posted, but it possibly got lost in the myriad of Lou's other ramblings. I personally think this is an affront to fiction itself. Even Twilight-obsessed teenage girls could set a scene better than this back in the day.

RE: Pokemon Cards. LOL. I do not wish to powerlevel too much, but I liquidated a huge amount of my collection a couple of weeks ago for 1k. That was at 60% value, so the total dollar amount in cards was a bit higher if I wanted to piece them out and sell them separately. (Big hassle for me.) While I am far from an elitist when it comes to collecting cards, Lou is very funny. Even kids have a better eye for cards than he does-- at least they collect what's shiny! Those Amazon packs are meant to swindle clueless parents or children with a bit of pocket money. Even the comments in his /r/PokemonTCG sub post are treating him with kiddie gloves because he comes off as a retard. That subreddit can be a tough audience.

Reading through that exchange, part of me is a little sad that society seems to have dug its heels in on the issue of trannies being real women, rather than continuing on to the next logical step - the issue of furries and otherkin being real animals.

I just want to see a timeline where a bunch of Bluesky furries will cancel each other over using furphobic, tranimal-exclusionary language like "human rights" and "(trans) people should be considered human beings". Is that too much to ask?!
 
I do like how Lou is so concerned about portability and usefulness when out and about, despite never going out and about.

I have an iPad mini and I love it. I also take it everywhere, and it has cellular connectivity, so I can use it anywhere, and I do, all the time.
