People have this TV sense that if you escape the crime scene and the police don't find you for a day or two you got away with it. That is not true. For something this high profile more and more resources would be brought in. The most advanced tricks the Feds have to find people would have eventually been employed. There is no reality where they didn't find Tyler Robinson within the week.
