I don't think the dad turned him in because of the money. He probably didn't want the house to be swatted or thought that confessing would help his son's case. If he's religious, he likely thinks confessing is good for your soul. Just because your child does something horrifying, you don't stop loving them.

Until we know more, pray for the family. Even if they thought Kirk was extreme, they didn't kill him. I doubt they radicalized this guy, but college. Families trust colleges to educate their kids and they groom them into communism.

Also, the FBI ain't CSI or L&O where they can find the murderer by overanalyzing eyelashes. I've seen cases in which they approach to the main suspect and tell them "we know it's you, but we can't prove it, so it's better that you confess".

If the dad was a proper diehard Republican, the fact his Troon son killed a figurehead of the right community, it's not just a fundamental incompatibility, in some cultures that would be immediate honor execution by the father.

The issue is people with too much time on the Internet. You get the people who are keyboard warriors and will say the most heinous shit online and are meek when you confront them in real life, then you get niggas like this guy who will think everything is completely serious. Someone's sarcasm is this guy's perceived reality. This guy doesn't know someone's extreme rants are just a factor in their mental illnesses. He legitimately thought reading and hearing words were actions.
To many people, confrontation is now offensive, hurtful, meanspirited, evil, and not a basic part of socialization anymore. Social media makes it way too easy to be comfortable staring at a screen you don't have to worry about approaching you at the "wrong time". Places like Discord that you can access at the tap of your phone or desktop where be able to just enter an ongoing conversation pretty easily, especially with someone who is socially inept and always online. You engage with those types, without realizing you're talking to someone who is a loser, likely for a very good reason.
Advice for many, if you want to keep engaging with a main group of people on Discord, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, etc, you have to regularly see them in person to know how they really are. Otherwise, they should be kept away from intimate parts of your life, for your sake.

This guy is going to raise a hundred million dollars for his legal defense on GoFundMe, probably get acquitted through jury nullification, and become a folk hero for the rest of his life. This will encourage imitation shooters, and the process will repeat. The Draconian punishments required for him and his Discord tranny friends to stop this will never take place.

Have you been to a college? Like, at all? Most main campuses are hundreds of acres This campus has 40,000 students. That's going to need a lot of land. Not only for the dorms and classrooms, but also the cafeterias, book stores, restaurants, most have a star bucks and a subway too, sports stadiums for every sport, a few gymnasiums... The school is huge because it's a college. Your average high school is several acres at about 2,000 students with no dorms. Most people pay 20 k a semester to go to these. They accommodate you very well.

This school in particular was 618 acres. Which is about 26,000 square feet. Bigger than most farms. It's pretty big.
