The ridiculous thing is that the 60s and 70s terrorists won because they were sequestered into academia. So while the US mainstream continued along seemingly unharmed, they have taken over academia and metastasized into any credentialized field, and only recently have their beliefs burst into the mainstream.

Chesa Boudin the leftist Soros DA that destroyed San Francisco for instance, is the son of Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, both of which Weather Underground members and who have since returned to academia. He has since been part of academia after being ousted.

This is the only reason the radical terror attacks from that era stopped. They won and acquired positions of authority. We live in the aftermath of their victory unfortunately.

Totally off topic but I genuinely wonder at these sort of events if there is any kind of survivors guilt from the people that were supposed to be providing security. Doesn't Charlie wear a bulletproof vest when he does these things? How could they not secure the rooftops?

Also, for the sake of my own mental health I refuse to believe that the FBI is this incompetent. This is the highest profile assassination in our lifetimes and if they fail to catch the culprit this basically would be the worst case scenario if your interest is in maintaining the peace. Conservatives will feel like they can't rely on the government and have to defend themselves proactively and leftists will be emboldened to attack again. Absolute worst case scenario. Couple that with realizing as soon as they finger the lefty that did this if they don't handle it right this could cause the right to mobilize and do something really, really stupid. If your interest is in maintaining the peace in the US the best case scenario would be "hey we got the guy, and we've figured out the tranny terrorist cell that he was working for and are making arrests". Then that would at least pacify the righteous indignation the right feels for some time (at least in the short term) and allow the left to have an organization to "disavow". Although there is no undoing the blackpill of seeing the left cheering on this death - this will have severe political consequences.

I feel like there's a decently large chance that the FBI is feigning naivety while Palantir-ing the dude and waiting to see who he calls or where he runs to (or simultaneously executing arrests across the country). Sort of like how LEOs intentionally "get busy" and make the suspect sit in the interrogation room for an hour or two just dwelling on the enormity of the whole thing before they interrogate him. This seems like this was organized as fuck. Call it cope if you want but I think there is a decent chance that this is the case if it was organized.

The left has been hijacked by suicidal, nihilist doomsday cult. These people subconsciously hate themselves and want to die but are too cowardly to do it + would rather take civilization down with them, as it "gets back" the perceived power structure that's slighted them all their lives. Once you are able to really understand and internalize this - their positions, their policies, everything all makes sense.
